Not far off from a wide medow stands the hills of Windspear. Towering cliffs and a gusty breeze welcome all who enter this area. The area encloses the town of Windspear, though the outlaying forest is quite a cozy spot for weary adventurers who don't have the coin to stay at an Inn. Beware travelers, for several slayings of familes and farm workers have been reported. The hills hide secrets of there own, as do some of the town folk (this is a great place to try out the NPC dialog). There are shops, a weaspon smith, two bookstores, a large pub in the center, and numerous houses. The inn is located on teh adjacent side of the Pub. The hills are home to many creatures and animals.

Making his way through the forest's thick, bushy exterior, Vivi found himself staring down a beast of sorts. something was differnt though, something not quite right about it. "EGADS!!! i can see through it! is it a shadow demon?" The beast lunged at him, tearing at his right arm. "FUUUUUUUU!" He pulled out the Ayurvir Red and slashed at its transperant throat, silencing it for good. "what the hell happened to this place?" He found his way to a clearing, where he observed an almost desolete town.

((Yes, I changed the gender of my character. Too confusing to see a guy avi and girl RP character))

Gabriel sat in the abandoned town. He knew nothing of how or why it was abandoned, but it was away from people, and that was precisely the way he liked it. He heard a beast cry out in the distance, however it was quickly silenced. He knew there was someone close to the town, and judging from the lack of battle cries and bewildered chattering, there was only one. He simply shrugged as he ducked into an alley way and rested on one of the crates. He knew the man would come to explore the town sooner or later. Most did.

Often times he would find the travelers that explored this city to be rather dull. They were all exebitionists searching for some left over loot, or ancient artifacts and clues as to what happened. He often lost interest in them and would go elsewhere, not even leaving so much as a clue that he was ever there in the first place. However, he always had taken a keen interest in examining everyone that went into this place. He had run into a few of them later on, only to find them clueless and stunned about how much he knew about them.

He made his way down into the town. "its even more quiet here than from where i was before!" He exclaimed. He walked softly and carried one dagger out, and his staff in the other hand. "hmmm....a pub eh?" He pushed the doors open, noticing the sun was setting, he slammed the door almost all the way shut behind him.

One with truely heroic hearing would have heard Gabriel silently get off the crates and head over towards the build. He peared in the window at angle that would obscure the traveler's view of him. By the sounds of it, the young man hadn't heard of this town before. He wasn't a looter, or one of those scholars trying to theorize the place's empty existance. Intrigued, Gabriel turned around the corner and waited in the alleyway right next to the pub.

He shouts. "Hello!!!!!!? Carnby, where are you!!!? WHERE ARE YOU ALL??!!" he waits, and yet after several minutes gives up. "damnit where is everyone??" He walked to the second floor and began to search for signs of any life, past or present, it mattered not. "scre it! LIGHT!!" He shouted and began to draw symbols in the air, creating a light orb spell, bright enough to light the rooms.

Hearing the man shouting for..someone..he slowly entered the building, and crept up the stairs. It was doubtful the man would even hear him, especially with the spell he was casting. Careful to avoid the man's line of sight until he seemingly appeared behind him. Gabriel simply stood there behind him, wondering whether or not the man would turn around and notice him. Even in the same room, it would be doubtful that he was detected, he had learned to be silent as the grave ever since he was a small child. He knew the man would turn around eventually, and for that moment, he waited.

Miyo sniffed as she wandered outside in the dusty abandoned town. She had heard that this place was home to only dust bunnies now and thought that there might be some metal scraps left somewhere that she could take since she was starting to run low on bronze and iron back at her shop. She was also too lazy and cheap to order some more with her own money, so here she was in this bacteria infested ghost town risking her health and her life just by breathing in the contaminated pollution this town would consider air.

Swinging a huge brass pendulum lazily about she made her way through alleys and streets picking up a few items to put in the knapsack she carried on her back. So far nothing of real worth had come along but then she spotted the town's tavern. Keg's of ale usually had metal rings around them right? She couldn't hope for iron since they rusted fairly easily but maybe they would be steel, and that was even better then iron or bronze. She had a good amount of steel stocked back home, but one can never have enough steel can they?

So heading over to it she pushed open the door to be met with a blinding light...

He turned around, notcing the shadows from daybreak finally coming to life. Someone, or something was now in his line of sight. "who's there?!" he said whispfuly, his voice showing no fear or true emotion, a neutral voice at the time.

Miyo merely coughed and shrank against the door frame as she heard a voice. "Is that you God?" her voice blared from her speaker and she tried to look up but her eyes still were not rady to adjust to the light, "Ah! It burns! Who's there?!"

He took no time into seeing who was up with him on the second floor as he literally flew off and sprang down the banister towards the front door, slamming into it with one foot using it as a recoil controller to land. "hmmm....god?? I'm no god, though some would beg to differ." he laughed hysterically. "who are you and why does the sun bother you??" He cocked his head to the left then the right.

Miyo slowly stood up but didn't bother to brush herself off. Looking at the stranger she shrugged, "I'm not a vampire if that's what you're thinking. It's just where I come from, I normally don't go outside in the daytime if i can help it. I stay in a basement underneath my shop, working on my machines." The girl wasn't sure if the man was going to mean trouble or not, but his eccentric behavior only amused her. "If you're not God...then who are you? Jesus?"

"I perfer to be called the right hand of mercy." He spoke then bowed to her. "and what, may i ask, is your name? My ture name is viv...and what also may i ask are you doing here?? Are you part of the blame to the disappearance of this town?" He put one hand behind his back.

"Name's Miyo," the girl shrugged, "And the town was like this when I got here, emptier then an oil can used to grease the tin man." Looking around she spotte two kegs lying desolately on the floor. With a grin she walked over to them and inspected the rungs holding the wood together, "And I'm a mechanic. I came here to look for some scrap metal so I wouldn't have to go buy it myself. People need to make a living ya know?" Stroking the metal with a finger the metal wriggled and shifted until it pulled itself free, like a snake reacting to a snake charmer. "Ah!" Miyo declared with a triumphant grin, "It is steel!"

"i'm not above petty theft myself but i won'steal from a town that has vanished into thin air. There is something going on here, and I'm here to find out. An informer had information for me that resulted in me with a deathsentence on Thay. He said to meet him here." He walked about looking for anything that would resemble a note, or a scroll. "by chance you don't happen to have 3 hooks on you do you?"
