Metamorphism. If I can change in anything I can become a bug which is close enough to invisible, I can become a bird and fly, I can become a dragon and breath fire... I can become a cookie too!

Mine is overused and has been said by annoying vampire fans everywhere, but hear my out on my reasoning. Mine would be immortality, and for those who may argue that that is not a power then it would be continuous rapid cell regeneration. My reason is truly dorky, I would want this power so that I could learn more then would be possible in a natural life span.

I would actually like to live forever just to see if there is actually any new information or discoveries in the future. ._. Also, to see if America actually steps back based on technology.Sort of expecting a 9 thing. If I had a power I guess it would be to bend the elements and such. Also to read minds. biggrin

Not able to join them in a possible afterlife.

Not able to join them in a possible afterlife. True, but It's not as if I could stop there aging and death by not living forever. Tho, I guess it would be easier to cope with it if I could be there and age with them. Either way death would eventually come, and the knowledge of what comes next is not something I'm very anxious to learn

A thousand times people you love will fade away infront of your eyes. That's hard on a person.

A thousand times people you love will fade away infront of your eyes. That's hard on a person. I can't disagree with that. It would be hard on a person, and it's a great reason to NOT want to live forever. The thing is, death is for many people, including me, their biggest fear. I fear not accomplishing anything and being forgotten. By never dieing that can be avoided, and immortalize those who were loved in memory. However, I do completely agree that watching the ones you love die would be horrible.
