I'm reading Gerald's Game and I'm halfway through it.
Does it get any better?
I'm not sure how else to ask it lol
and I'm not a big fan of spoilers so I'm not sure how to ask it from even a setting standpoint.
oh heres another question, Does the dog symbolize anything? Is he used later in the story?
Just dont tell me how please
I had a tough time getting into the story and its still a bit rough for me.
So any thoughts about this book are welcomed too.

#1) No, it doesn't.
#2) How many of his books have you read? I ask because this is not a good choice for a beginner.
I would say this is amongst his bottom 5 books, in my opinion.

I've read a lot of his books, (I own like 8 of them) it really wasnt that good.
Finally finished it though.
