The year is 2078. Technology has boomed in the past century, giving birth to fascinating advancements; it's even almost common for the upper classes to vacation in space.
The world goes into an economic depression, affecting many countries, great and small. Feeling the restriction, Germany invades and attacks Russia, hoping that war will boost employment and production rates.
However, Russia does not want war. European nations and the Americas then gather to discuss a peace treaty. Quickly, one is established, but it's not long after that that German spies are found in France, which violates the terms of the Treaty of Paris 2071.
The United Nations decides to take military action against Germany, which is basically what Germany had been asking for. However, to their despair, this World War III, unlike the past worldly wars where there would be a boom of employment and production, the economies of these many countries--not only Germany--suffered only worse.
Germany is able to find many allies against the United Nations. The main powers were Germany, Japan, China, and Great Britain against Russia, France, the United States, and Australia. Friends soon became enemies as the world was split in two. It was a neck-to-neck war.
And still the economies plummeted even though the world was engaged in work.
Soon, a race to build atomic bombs was found necessary in case soldiers and tanks and money ran out. The hope was to not use them; nobody wanted to be the first to drop one. Tensions were high; everybody was edgy.
Then on the headlines of the morning newspapers, August 28th, 2076, Russia drops an atomic bomb over Berlin, Germany.
Next week's news: Germany drops an atomic bomb over Moscow, Russia. France drops two bombs over Great Britain. The United States drops two bombs on Japan, and they return it with three and then two over Australia.
World War III becomes a war that literally affects the world due, not only to the suffering economies, but because of the massive amounts of radiation that the atomic bombs give off.
So here we are, in the middle of a war, whether you be from America, Germany, France, Russia, Spain, Argentina, or Egypt. It's a war from the land, the sea, and the sky, utilizing every form of technology there is in new, creative ways that have never been seen or heard of before. It's a war for your life.
