A lot of u guys have probably heard Float On on the radio or something, also Ocean Breathes Salty. I think these guys are pretty good, very different sound, original, the singer's pretty good as well. Check em out.

I listen to them. I heard the song "Float On" on the radio and it was something completely different from the usual pop or rap that was cluttering my mind. I own the CD, too.

I love Modest Mouse.
Im a big fan of the CD 'Good News for People who Love Bad News' although I love many of their earlier songs like 'Paper Thin Walls', 'Heart Cooks Brain', 'Custom Concern', 'Talking s**t about a Pretty Sunset' along with 'Polar Opposites', 'I came as a Rat and, 'The Fruit that Ate itself'
I could sit here and list songs all day, or I could just simply say "I am a huge Modest Mouse fan, and Im still devastated that I wasn't old enough to get into the bar when they played here last year.

I was watching Austin City Limits, and MM was on, and they seemed to being a recap of their entire career. They were extremely good, but near the end, they appeared become slightly 'drunk. It was still good. My personal favorites of MM are "Night on the Sun" and "The View."

gonk There was an article on them in the local newspaper today. crying Apparently they had a concert about 30 minutes away from my home, or should I say two in a row? However, it was sold out so quickly they didn't get enough time to advertise it, thus, I was at a loss.

I like Modest Mouse; they've got a pretty good sound. I quite like 'Ocean Breathes Salty'. As far as I can see, they've been playing their cards right, so they can end up as a pretty well remembered band.
