hey! tell us all about the great and awesome artists you've recently stumbled upon!

in my latest musical exploits i've found quite a few new artists, but one group really caught my interest: sparta locals. heart i snagged their pv, "yume station" from a rotational site i hit up over the weekend. it was great. not only was the music awesome, but the visuals in the video were really cool, too! the members of the band never actually "play" their instruments during the video, since they're [the instruments, that is] either all wrapped in cellophane or are white sillouettes, but they [the band] do an insane job of feigning playing! (needless to say, they actually do play the instruments, it's just not shown on the pv. whee 3nodding ) and there's these little standing frames, too, that are really interesting visual aspects. the music as i said is great. it's a really catchy song, and i love like everything about it! the vocals, bass, guitars, drums. it's all awesommeeee. and i love all the energy the band shows while they're playing! i loved it so much, in fact, that i downloaded their album "sun sun sun" to check it out. it was great, tooooo! if you're looking for a comparison, i guess they're kind of like the pillows, only not exactly, you know. they're also influenced a lot by the clash and other western acts if you're into that thing. 3nodding so like go google 'em; it'll be well worth it. heart
