I just donated blood with the American Red Cross, it wasnt too bad..I think i gave it too fast - afterward i got sick in the bathroom and had to lay down >.<

But overall, its my 4th time donating in my life, and i will keep doing it.
My blood type is O positive whee

Do you donate blood?
Have you had any bad experiences?

I tried donating blood a few times, but they've always refused it. It was either they said I was under the minimum weight required to donate, or because I take iron supplements. That's too bad.

I think I'm A or B, I'm not sure. 0.0

Oh yes, hehe. I've had friends turned down for the weight thing.
This past time, my iron was right at the minimum limit >.<

I reeeaally want to donate blood. I really do. But last time the blood donation people came 'round, I was on lots of antibiotics so I couldn't. I was so sad D: but next time I will - it's something I've always wanted to do.
I have no idea what my blood type is o.O hmmm.

I've wanted to give blood a few times but I have an iron deficiency in my blood. Apparently I have some other problems that run in the family aswell which sucks. Don't really like the idea of my blood getting drained out of me but it's nice to give to those who need it... Plus I'd do anything to have a cup of tea and biscuit when I'm lying down. mrgreen

Whenever I tried to donate my blood, it was either my iron reservoirs were too low or my blood pressure was insanely low.

A few days ago I was trying my luck again; at first my hemoglobin counting stood on 10.3, but the doctor suggested me to check again and it jumped to 11.8. Unfortunately, it was still too low and I have been refused to have another check.
My blood isn't good enough. : (

I've donated a few times - my iron level is always border line. I think I may have to give it up, though. I always feel really weak and tired for several days afterwords. Twice, I've nearly fainted. Once, they made me stay almost two hours afterwords because I was too pale and my blood pressure was low. Methinks my body's trying to say something with this.

My blood is 0- which is a really useful blood type, I believe. Unfortunately, I'm very anemic, so I can't give blood. sad
