Hello welcome to my first RP attempt in over a year. This is a little different from the normal RP's that I do but enjoy and if you have any questions hang on to them until i Get the OOC up or you can PM me.

rules:
1. All guild and TOS rules apply
2. No god moding.
3. No more than three (3) characters per person
4. NPCs allowed. If used, please PM Rhiannon Daimon with any information about the NPC. This is required for the sake of the other members of this RP.
5. No killing other characters without consent from the character's creator.
6. Please PM all character requests to Rhiannon Daimon and title them the Underground that way i know what RP we are talking about.

Setting and Basic info:

Earth Surface: Earth as we know it today does not exist. Instead the earth is now scarred by war. Nuclear war heads had been deployed and destroyed major cities in all continents. An after effect of nuclear war is that the climate of earth drastically changed. It is dismal covered with thick cloud cover. Light still reaches the surface every once in a while but it is a hazy sunlight that reaches the surface. Some water is very dangerous to drink as it may have been contaminated with nuclear radiation. Average temperature itself is very cool during the summers an average high in colonies is about 80 where your average winter low is a very cold sub zero temperature. The ice caps are growing, most plant life that existed before exist still, animals for the most part remained un-harmed and population of endangered species are starting to grow as there is little human interference. They still tend to avoid places where humans once occupied.

The Undergrounds: The undergrounds are basically a series of connecting high security bomb bunkers that were drilled out when the disease was found to be incurable. They are constructed either out of concrete or high endurance steal that can withstand bomb blast and earthquakes. The undergrounds have grown from their small and humble shelters to become fully functional colonies. They have clean water, facilities, homes and shelter for those not affected by the disease. Some colonies have grown so much that they have expanded deeper into the earth surface. (Kind of like Egypt’s Valley of the Kings) There are hundreds of colonies in a single area and for survival purposes they have created passages to join with each other for the common good of its occupants. These undergrounds can be found all over the world.


Non infected Humans: we are just that Human we act think and have the same physical strength as people in real life do. We do not have any super powers or a higher then normal IQ.


Infected Humans: Have a slightly lesser IQ although some have an average IQ level. They have but on instinct that is to survive and watch out for ones own self. They are ruled by the need to survive and if that means entering into the camps of the “Others” and killing them to eat and get what they need for basic supplies then so be it. They are physically stronger then the average human but not by much a Humans might still be able to physically over power them. They are able to reproduce and have young and they are known to have the capability of taking care of their young if they choose to do so.

Physical Description: Lucien has pale blue eyes and stands about 5'10, with a muscular, but not heavy, physique. He has short but cropped brown hair that is kept neat with the aid of some styling jell.
Personality: Lucien has a quiet but strong personality type. He is a hardworking and a good student. Once he sets his sights on something he will do anything to achieve his goals.
Background: Lucien is the oldest child he has a younger sister named Evelyn who is only seven. His father is in the military and his mother is a housewife. Lucien and his family tend to move around a lot from underground military bas to underground military base. Lucien has just graduated with honours from one of the best private military high school in the underground and is now considering what to do next in his life.

Name: Kielo Pyry
Age: 17
Age Appears to Be: 17
Race: Non-Infected Human
Occupation: Volunteer at an orphanage/student
Physical Description: Kielo has long (mid-back) blonde hair that she usually keeps pulled back in a tight bun. She has emerald green eyes that always seem to sparkle. She is very tall for her age (6'0") which makes her sometimes look awkward, as she dwarfs most of her friends. She tends to dress in plain clothes (nothing brightly coloured or that shows off her figure).
Personality: Kielo is quiet and studious. She tends to keep to herself, even when around those closest to her. She is also very self-conscious about her looks (her height especially) and feels awkward around new people as a result. However, she is very loyal and defensive when it comes to her parents and friends.
Background: Kielo was born to two scholars who specialized in ancient history and ancient languages. When she was no more than ten, her parents left the Underground for the surface in hopes of gathering more knowledge of the Earth and it's past civilizations for future generations in hopes that the Earth's surface would one day be re-inhabited. As a result, Kielo spent the next few years living in the orphanage that she now volunteers at. Much like her parents, Kielo is very interested in her studies but has no real aspiration to follow in their footsteps.

Race: Human, non-infected
Occupation:Lieutenant Colonel in the military
Physical Description: Short black hair, ice blue eyes. Keiran is a tall, fit, athletic army officer, standing at 6'2" (188cm).
Personality: The serious and down-to-business type. Keiran's focus is always on keeping the civilians in the Underground safe from the infected.
Background: Keiran comes from a military family, both of his parents were in the army before being lost to the infected. Keiran made his way up the ranks quickly, and now commands a battalion of his own. He had a younger brother, also in the military.

Occupation:. Mercenary, with Nurse training
Physical Description:. Liana is of a short stature, with a curvy figure, and lean musculature. She has startling green eyes that turn golden when angry, and short, curly black hair.
Personality:. Bubbly and happy, with rarely a serious moment.
Background:. Despite her occupation of hired gun, she loves people and hates to cause pain. But in a time when people need protection, she is willing to put aside her hatred of violence to protect those in need. Which is why she learned how to heal as well.
Her parents instilled her beliefs in her, for they had similar occupations in their past before they grew old and became injured.

Age:. 19
Age Appears to Be:. 25
Race:.uman, Infected
Occupation:. Mindless Zombie? Eater of People? Destroyer of Homes? All-around Scourge of the Earth? Pick your favourite, and that's what he is.
Physical Description:. Steve has rusty-looking red hair, and muddy brown eyes. He's very tall at 6'7", and has thick, hard muscles.
Personality:. Very dim-witted. And I mean very, very dim-witted. A rock with moss can outwit this poor schlub.
Background:. He was born infected. His parents disappeared shortly after they made sure he was able to find for himself, which included a basic ability to talk. Other than that, he's not too sure.

Lucien was waiting out side of the mlilitary college recruitment office. He was pacening anxiously back and forth. His father, Major-General Matthias, had arranged for him. His father wanted him to join to receive his military training as well as an military education.

“Licuen Matthias,” The secretary of the general said.
Lucien looked her way.

“You may come in now the general is ready to see you.” She said as she opened the door wider and waited for him to enter.

Once in the secretary told him to have a seat and await the general. Lucien sat down at the desk after the secretary closed left and closed the door behind her. Lucien looked around at the medals and pictures on the walls. This was not something that he wanted to do but he didn’t know what else to do he never though of what he would become of him after graduating from High school. Suddenlt the door to his left opened. Lucien stood up at attention as the general entered the room.

“take a seat young man.” The Gernal said to him. “So your father wanted me to talk to you about further education in the Military. He’s a good man and a good officer your father is. I can see it in you that you will be a great officer as well.”

“Thank you sir.” Lucien said.

”now what is it that you would like to do here? You can continue your education in the college or be sent to active combat training and receive your education in the off time. Both ways require a five year commitment. So what interest you son?" The Genera asked.

“I’m not sure sir. I…I I’d prefer some time off to think over my options within the military and civilian life. Sir.”
“ahh Mr. Matthias. It’s in your blood. You need to be with us. Your one of the smartest young men there is in our private high schools. I would be a shame to waist such a great mind. How about this we can give you active duty with educational classes in engineering and communications in the field. Those subjects you did exceedingly well in. I would do you good to stay with them.” Th General told Lucien.

“Thank you sir but” “but what come on boy you’re good we can use someone as good as you are plus after the five years if you want I’ll let you return to civilian life.” The General slid the recruitment papers across the table for Lucien to sign.

Lucien looked at the papers inhaled and held his breath for a second. He didn’t know what else to do with no plans. He couldn’t tell his father that he didn’t want to join the military and have no back up. Lucien silently reached for a pen and signed the recruitment papers.

“That’s a boy son, welcome to the Military forces. Private Matthias you will receive word of where you are to report for training from the secertary.” The Genera said as he rose to walk out of the office with his arm draped over Lucien shoulder. “Your father will be proud of you boy.” He said as he brought him out to the hall and left him there to talk with his secretary.

“Hello Officer Matthias,” the secretary said to him. “Here’s your order form for your uniform please select your size. I’ll also need your information to update your files.” Once Lucien was done ordering his gear and provided his information to the woman she passed him a note. “you are to report to Colonel Fischer within the hour. He will tell you where to go for training.” “thank you mam.” Lucien said and left the office,

"Private no-name extra Jones! You left yourself open! If he had been an infected, you would be now as well."

Colonel Kieran Fischer stepped onto the mat and gestured for Jones to attack him as his sparing partner had. Unlike Jones, Fischer grabbed his wrist effortlessly, and spun the Private around. He kicked his legs out from under him and sent him face first into the mat. "That's how it's done. Any questions?"

"No, sir."

"Then get back to it, Private."

Fischer left the mat and continued to circle the room and observe the recruits. They would all eventually fight the infected, and he could already see which men would not be returning.
