Prog metal with a strong neoclassical bent from Oslo, formed in 1998. Composed of members of avant-garde bands Arcturus and Age of Silence, most notably the one and only Hellhammer.

It's a tough concept to pull off without seemingly endless wankery, but the musicians here do it perfectly. Classy and high-minded without ever being cheesy. The overall sound is more soothing and mellow than anything else. Their first full-length, "Reflections of the I" is highly recommended.
