Anyone seen it yet? I have. Like twice. It so rocks. I won't give anything away other than you need to see this movie. I've already seen it twice in theaters, and I know once its out on DVD I'm buying the special edition and watching it for a week straight. I like it just that much. I haven't read the comic yet, but my bf says its 80% or more straight from the comic, sometimes scene for scene. So discuss! Have you seen it? Will you see it? Am I just that weird, or what?

I have not seen it yet. crying I really want to but my fiance doesn't want to see it unless it's like imax or on a huuuuge screen and where we live they only have small screen theaters which is a totally bogus reason not to go but there you have it. Now I think we won't see it till we watch in on our 37" screen and what is the use of that?

The closest thing to an IMax screen around here is about 500 km away. Our 'city' just has the smaller screen theatres.
Even then I don't mind watching them at home, as a smaller TV (27") is fine with me.
But yeah, it looked like it would be a neat movie.
I might have to go buy that graphic novel. I saw it at the bookstore. I almost picked that up instead of a couple other books I got the last time I was there. I picked up the book Dune, Berserk vol 25 and a book for my youngest son for his birthday.
a little off track I guess sweatdrop But yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing Watchmen if it ever comes here.

I haven't seen it yet but I really heard a lot of mixed reviews about it. So I'm not quite sure if I'm up for it. I generally do like movies that are influenced by comics though so I might end up enjoying it more than I think I will. I think I'll watch it when the dvd comes out or something. XD

It was greatness. I want to get the director's cut when it comes out on DVD it is supposed to be like 5 hours long. I don't like how they changed how Rorschach killed his first villain, or that they changed the "Oh s**t I'm on Mars." line.

I get teased constantly for liking Nite Owl II so much, because all my friends say he's just like my bf, lol.
