I was attempting to install morrowind again on my new vista OS'd laptop and when I went to play (this is straight vanilla morrowind - without the expansions other mods) it would let me got to the trapdoor of the boat you arrive on and when I wend to exit to the exterior world it would freeze up.
Can anybody help or does this happen on all vista systems?

It could be your laptop...there are a ton of laggy gaming laptops. sad
I can't play ANYTHING on mine...
