In a world parallel to Earth, magic thrives. Ralkinor has only one continent that is split into four countries while a fifth consists of all the islands spread across the rest of the planet. Each country prays to one of five spirits. These countries share peace among each other. The spirits aiding were ever they can.

But inside this peace there are those that are stirring. Deep angers and resentments have surfaced in one man. He heard a legend. A legend of two other spirits. Spirits that unlike even Mother Void never came to the Realm of Living. They stayed solely in the Spirit Realm. He, this man that grew up with deep anger, wants to claim the World for his own.

Aquilo is located in the far North of the continent. The climate is cold and the terrain is volcanic. The people are highly technologically advanced and pull the majority of the energy for their technological marvels form the active volcanoes that litter the landscape. Aquilo is run by a Demarchy. It is a system where a group of random individuals are chosen to make decisions. When matters that affect the country as a whole arise, Wind chooses the council and presides over it.

Humus is on the Eastern side of the continent. The whole country is covered in high mountains, because of this many of the species found here have wings. These people have many contests testing their skills and trying to qualify for the Valcano Challenge. A challenge held every year agiast the country of the Great Spirit of Fire, Ignis. Humus is run by a Meritocracy. Positions of power are decided through competency. Potential candidates are administered test by Earth to decide who will lead the people of.

Unda is a Federation made up of the many island nations spread across the great Ocean. Water is at the head of the Federation, and its headquarters are located on the largest island in the middle of all the islands. There are many celebrations throughout Unda and Water attends all of the major ones. Fire can sometimes be found here pestering Water. One always knows if Firs is in Unda because the ocean will turn savage in response to Water’s unease.

Sero rest at the South of the Great Continent on Ralkinor. Most of Sero is covered in deep jungle. The Southeastern corner is all desert. The people of Sero reveal in the freedom of a peaceful Anarchy. The people are taught only of peace and love from the day they are born. Sero is in a constant party with food and a love of merriment in abundance. If threats do arise to the peace of Sero, Plant subtly gets rid of it.

Ignis lays in the West. It is covered in domestic forests. The people here are trained to fight at a young age. The Volcano Competition is second in best festivals of the year only to the World Tournament. Fire is constantly searching for sparing partners and to be chosen is a giant honor in Ignis. If you are chosen, it usually results in instant knighthood. Ignis uses a Diarchy to maintain control. A Diarchy is basically a Monarchy only with two royal families instead of one. To distinguish members of the royal family, Fire only allows those of the royal blood line of Ignis to yield fire magic of any kind.

Appearance: Lrak is a tall man at 5'11". His hair is deep black and messy in a intentianal way. His eyes are soft green color. He wears a dark red cloak over black armor.
History: Lrak was an ordinary boy. That is until his mother told him a legend. He wasn't sure what to make of it the first time he heard it. His mother told it to him once every new moon. When he asked why, she said that she belonged to a faith of peolpe that believed in and prayed to Shadow. When his mother died, he swore to her that he would free Shadow and bring about a new world.
Other: He is a very skilled swordsman and is very good a combat magic.

Appearance: Silena has a very small build. She comes to 5'2" but many of the older woman tell her that she'll still grow yet. Her eyes are a clear red and her hair is black with red highlights. The only clothes she owns is one old tatttered dress.
History: Silena was orphaned at a very young age. She has no memory of who she really is but hopes one day she will be able to get out of the slums.
Other: She has a natural talent for martial arts and combat but has no actual training.

History: Dunya travels here and there listening to the legends, myths, and tales, of anyone who will tell him his quest is to gain knowledge and understanding he always asks questions. he also seeks the location of shadow not just to release her but to council with her for he knows the story of origin all to well.

History: Davy was abandoned by his folks at first breath for reasons unknown. not much is known about the people that raised only that they belonged to and order of assasins. Davy was taught the ways of the assasin the moment he could hold a knife and he learned fast. Many years had gone by until he was later kicked out into the world to once again to fend for himself as a hired blade.
Other: Davy is a poison master he relies mostly on poisons and toxins to do the thing a good blade cant.

Appearance: Cropped, shaggy fine white hair twists and curls around her pale face and steel-blue eyes. Wears frameless glasses (allows her to magnify vision), a wristband (materializes light-weight tools), jeans, a black undershirt and a white jacket. Also wears a “utility” belt that materializes materials for on-sight jobs. Kristin also has a white butterfly tattooed on the small of her back.
History: Kristin is an only child, raised in a family of mechanics and those from higher society. She has excelled in training as a mechanic, and has only done so for praise and recognition from her family. Her parents are usually too involved in politics to notice their only child; when she was selected by the council to become a traveling mechanic, Kristin knew this was her best chance to achieve greatness.
Other: Voted in as one of 20 “traveling mechanics” (official job title). Was sent to Ignus to repair any job she finds.

History:Alice is a very calm quiet girl, she is never seen alone, she always has a baby dragon with her name Silver, Alice was abandon at birth of because how she looked, she use to think she looked normal and still does. Sometimes you will see her talking to Silver while standing in water.
Other:Alice is always near water, not many people know why, and if she isnt she is somewhere in a forest close by the water or somewhere near it...sometimes she wishes to leave Unda to go see other places but knows its impossible to do so.

History: Tilki grew up carefree in a close community of were-foxes. Her family in particular had an affinity for healing magics and while developing those skills were important they never held a lot of appeal to Tilki. Too much meditating and sitting still. When she reached adulthood she was anxious to begin exploring the world, not wanting to be limited to Sero even though she loved her home dearly.
Other: Tilki has 3 forms she can change into freely; her entirely human form, a hybrid form (depicted in her picture) which as far as she can tell enhances her hearing but little else, and a full fox form. While she can change at will, doing so taxes her and often leaves her fatigued.

Appearance: Ombra
History: Ombra never knew her father and was raised by her mother who was was a bitter woman. Her daughter was not spared her scorn which caused Ombra to wish for a better life, often imagining a prince in shining armor coming to rescue her. As she grew older and she learned her fantasy had no place in reality, she too grew embittered. Then she came accross a faction who was trying to free Shadow and Ombra had finally found what she so dearly needed - a purpose.
Other: The only thing of value her mother ever gave her was a pendant she wears threaded through her hair (or sometimes as a necklace). As it's a family heirloom she secretly holds it dear.

In the Sewers under the town Naret in Ignis

"You see my fellows, Shadow was cheated. Cheated just as you were! For it was YOU how deserved these better jobs," Lrak proclaimed. Cheers came from the different spots in the crowd. All supporters of his cause. The men he was trying to convince began to nod their heads in agreement.

"We will stand against these tirents in her name. For Shadow, we will take from the Spirits what they have kept from us. But, when we find our dear Mistress, we will convince her that killing all is not the anwser. Doing her job is what they want. NO, instead we will keep her from killing. So that we may rule Immortal over all!" This caused cheers to eurpt from everywhere. Lrak smilled. He would have his army, and the world.

Towards the back of the crowd was a young girl who had felt encreasingly wrong about that man's story. There was somthing wrong with it. She didn't know what, but she did understand what was going on. He was rallying people to him with his false story. Dread rose inside her and she ran from the sewers.

Blinded she walked aimlessly. Silena wasn't normally aloud out of the sewer like most pesants. When she caught her balance she let out a yell, "He's trying to kill eveyone!"

Most people passed by but some looked at her strangly.

"He needs to be stopped," she called to deag ears before running into an officer. He sent a kick at her that she easily scurried away from. Nearby kids laughed. That's when she stopped an looked around. Selena was out of the sewers. She was free. With that thought, she ran out of town.

"Am I? The spirits never speak of the other two. Even if asked directly for I have asked. I have made the pilgramige to the Great Spirit of Wisdom's own country and she turned me away! You say I am wrong, what proof do you have, for I can assure you sir, the spirits will not lend you aid," Lrak declared with just as much force as the young man had shown. He remebered well that day he had met with Wind. It had been such a short visit. Her face turned so somber at the mere mention of the other two spirits and before he had known what happened he was at the border of the country. Moved there, he was sure, by Wind herself.

Little Silena was haveing a marvelous time. She skipped and sang and sometimes screamed into the air for no reason at all. It was her first day of freedom!

"She was not sealed to the abyss! She was sealed into a living body, in a MERE mortal as you put it. They have kept no secrets from us. Especally Wind. She has anwsered all questions asked, save those about Them. About the two that do not speak to us, they keep silent," Lrak proclaimed! He swung his hand down forcfully and then opened his arms wide to encoupous everyone present.

"Just as those above say nothing of you who have wrongfully been stashed away below there very feet. Yes, poor Shadow has been banished below them!"

"The world would be like it was before time began! Like it still is in the Spirit Realm! No the world could do without death. Without death, we would not need to destroy other creatures or plants. You see, Shadow doesn't want to do her job, we don't want to die. WHY let her Suffer?" Lrak asked. He was sure in his plans and again the crowd turned toward him. His own followers helping in keep the tide towards him. Lrak smiled at the young man, wondering what his next move would be.

Silena sat beside the road out of breath. She had no idea where she was now, but didn't really care. She was free. She would find food and shelter when she needed them. If she ame across a river she would fallow it, and she would find work where she could. She wasn't about to loose this chance.
