Clearly too may of us don't know how to ref well and those that do can't be stuck playing moderator for people who wish they were GODS because then they get the short end of the stick and don't get in on any of the action. Plus, the moderators have a few other things they are attending to, I'm sure.
Sooo... while it is ultimately Dae's decision to go with this new idea or not, I think that we need to do something more constructive than whine about how nobody's on and how you're stick in the middle of a battle. Now internet going out, parents getting on your case, school is all understandable.
If someone sees a godmod then let them know what you see, don't sit there silent, letting it happen, cause that's how you learn, by having your errors pointed out to you. Honestly, refs really shouldn't be needed if everyone knew how to rp well rather than counting on these suped up abilities and borderline god-modding. If you can't handle this then you're in the wrong clan, because this is a battle clan, not a gods clan, not a chatterbox thread.
I do not see why you couldn't create a new forum in here, to take battles to. They can be easily checked in on and kept in a nice order and easily spot who has posted last and when that post was made. This would also make this guild look a lot nicer in terms of battling.
Tournaments could be held through the same system. This would also allow Dae and moderators easier tracking access when battles are taking place. He'll be able to see whom they are between. He needs to be sent a pm with the notice a battle is happening within it. Tournaments are held in a forum seperate from the battles, on it's own accord, this works well in another Guild that I am in.
We can check out who battles when how many times each week and if, as with a couple of the battles, they get cut short because one or the other leaves, then they can easily be picked back up as the contenders get back online and continued till the end.
We can also create a ranking forum/post, in which you can keep track of numbers of losses, wins and to be determined still. Tell whom you've batteled, haven't and still need to. They can be listed by rank and then filter through, etc.
