Ermor stopped his Mecha near the loading dock, a large truck following him. On the truck was the APC, though it wasn't painted. He crouched his machine down, and turned off the main controls. Ermor sat down on the hard metal floor of his cockpit and closed his eyes. He was mentally getting himself ready for the battle. Ermor shifted, getting comfortable while he waited.

Adler opened up a comm channel to the General.

"Good morning, Sir! It sure is a beautiful day today, isn't it?"

More than anything, Adler was downright giddy, excited to finally see some action. War was a terrible thing. People died in it. The young captain realized this, but there was still an indescribable burning in his heart--just like any warrior. Still waiting for his teammates, Adler tryed to cool off, but he was just too wired. He began to focus the Commando's radar on various parts of the sky, trying to pick up small planes on his screen. He finally grew bored, and shut down the Commando's reactor, leaving on only his radio system. Adler rested in the command couch, going over the proposed mission tactics in his head.

Jeffie flies in with Kyrah, and perches atop the unpainted APC. "Ready to go!!"

"Alright, now we're only waiting for our last two pilots. Lets hope they get here quickly." Ermor says, then closes of his comm channel. He set his Mecha into a low power mode, only running key items. Ermor turned off his power sapping holo displays and switched back to the flat screen viewing moniters. Ermor began running on inventory of what ammo he brought and started to write a program for some of his new weapons. He was hoping to be able to program his weapon in his shield but, it would be hard to do without real testing.

"Jeffie, that APC there is what you're taking with you. You needn't grab it till we land on Luther, so the truck will bring it with." Ermor adjusted a random strap on his one of his armor peices. "That reminds me...." He thinks, turning his machine on to full operating power. He began running a system check on his external armor, making sure it was attached and operational. The last thing he needed was for the armor to lose its grip on his machine.

Fuzzing over the team's frequency there came a choppy transmission.

"Appologies for my tardyness general, I got held up in customs."

Andreis chuckled as he sat, arms crossed in the cockpit of his mobile suit. The thwapping of the helicopter's blades on the air came into audible distance as the oversized helicopter drew closer, the Raven3 hanging firmly in clamps. The helicopter bobbed through the haze and became a sillhouette in the distance of the crew. Once within 1000 feet of the group the helicopter throttled down and lowered in alttitude. A hiss came forth as the clamps prepared for release and the Raven 3's legs folded out from flight position. They almost looked too thin for the heafty sized engines. The helicopter then dropped the mech at 500 feet with a metalic clang and the mech hit the ground with a rumble as it slid foreward in a crouched position.
It only had to take a few more steps before it was with the group and the helicopter rounded about, headed back at much higher speeds.
The Raven 3 got on one knee and the search chamber closed as the cockpit opened and Andreis stepped up.

"Good day sir."

"All right!" Adler exclaimed. "Now we just need our Lieutenant and his little rescue team, and we'll be good to jump out."

((Sorry for the brevity, I've got to write an AP English paper...I'll edit it later))

Awaiting Armorious's arrival, Jeffie powers Kyrah down, still on the APC, perched for quick takeoff.

Ermor rubbed his gloved hands together. "Great, just one last operative left before we can ship out." He says excitedly. He finished his check of his armor systems and then started running tests on his Artemis hover drive to see if it was in working order. He diverted some power from the reactor and fed it to the drive. His Mecha rose up slightly and then he removed the power from the drive again. '

Ermor sighed to himself, know now everything should work when he wanted it too. Unlike his older model Commando.... He toyed with the power settings and then put the reactor back in to powersave mode. He observed the heat gauge sink rapidly, noting that his cooling systems were working perfectly. He was going to need them once he got into the heat of battle and he didn't want to waste much time while the reactor had to cool itself. Many a good pilot had been lost because he hadn't paid attention to his heat indicators.

"8 switch to low power mode."
"Done. Are you sure they're coming?"
"If they sent that many intel scouts then yes they are."
"I just hope your right."
"Well if not then I will just have to slowly chip off their forces."
"I suppose so."
"Quit worrying." he says jokingly and the A.I. know this "Thats an order 8."
"Yeah right."
"You always could see through that."

Armorius ran late. He had to configure the outputs of his armor and when done he rushed out the door. He also had a few adjustments added to his main Mech the Weisse Ritter. He landed on it's back and his feet magneticaly stuck to it. HE extended the cable grapples to two ports and with is he had a nueral connection to the MEcha which he willed forward and then to fly carrying it's Oxchon rifle in it's right hand. He rode the Mech all the way to the main hangar and landed next to the General. He opened the comm channels and waited for orders.

" First Lieutenant Armorius, With the Teklon Armor and Weisse Ritter, Reporting for duty. Sorry about the wait. I had to make sure the A.I command system was perfect General. I'll Control it until we land then I hop on Adler and She's all yours." He spoke clearly. He felt energized a coffee with sugar did it and would last a battle. The suite felt pretty comfortable. It mirrored his movements precisly and offered very good stats for what he was about to do. HE only felt sorry that he won't be in Weisse Ritter to try out the new Zankatou beam sword.

"Alright then, lets get ourselves loaded onto the dropship." Ermor raised the power levels of his mecha again, and plodded into the large bay of the dropship. He settled his machine into one of the docking bays and locked himself in. He brought his mecha back down to powersave mode again. He took off his control armor again and set it on the special rack again. He opened his cockpit and sat on the lip of the lower door to watch them come into the dropship.

Adler keyed the Commando's auxiliary power switch and inhaled as the whine of the turbine grew in pitch, finally turning over the fusion engine, which built the sound to a satisfying electromagnetic hum. With a slight nudge of the accelerator, the Commando moved forward, climbing the ramp of the dropship. Locking into a bay next to the General, Adler also powered down the fusion drive, leaving the electrical systems active. Waiting for the others, he opened a web browser on the Commando's computer while they were still near the base's wireless network. Spending the minutes looking at historical photos, he keyed the microphone, talking to anybody who would listen.

"Heh...can you imagine what it must have been like in one of these "Abrams" tanks? One medium cannon and a machine gun...oh, and smoke projectors, real cute..."
