Aphrodia looked about as she walked down the sidewalk. She had her nose raised in the air as she walked, looking at anything else that passed like it was much lower then her. She smiled as she saw a few male dogs watch her and laughed, but they were not males she approved of. They were dirty and very common. She was too good for them. She wagged her tail as she walked along looking at the sky and making sure none of the commoners got too close to her. She didn't like to talk to them, they talked about silly things like food and what kind of dirty things they had found on the street and had eatin out of the trash. She rolled her eyes and shuddered at the thought of trash. It was smelly and gross and she hated thinking about talking to a dog who's mouth smelled like trash. yuck! She thought to her self as she walked, hoping to find someone interesting and worthy of her conversation.

 As the perks of being a house dog would entail, the black dachshund was blessed with many benefits to his life. Massive bones about half the size of his body in particular for the moment. Which he displayed for all to admire at the edge of the grass on the house he resided at, one layed between his paws and another of equal value laid beside him. As dogs passed they gawked and yerned but knew not to try anything from the glint in the winged adult's eyes, as his mother, this dog was not one to cross.

Aphrodia walked around a corner and came to a yard that had a black winged Dachshund in it and he had some rather large bones infront of him. He looked hansom and she didn't smell any trash near by, just the lovely smell of done. She smiled softly at him and paused as she eyed him and the bones with a tilt of her head and a swish of her tail. "Hello hansom." she said with a smile as she took one step towards the yard to see if he would let her closer.

Diomedes smelled a female coming before she came around the corner and was prepared for her to say something to him. Although he was a house dog, he was not spoiled or rude by any stretch of the imagination. The sound of her voice was pleasant, so suppressing the impulse to whip his head up and size her up before she came closer onto his family's property he instead lifted his head steadily and gave a very slight wag with his tail of obvious approval. Definitely better than he had expected, and with such an appropriate greeting. "Hello yourself there, Princess."

Aphrodia fought off a giggle as he called her Princess. She loved being called a Princess, well mostly cause she was in her own world. She smiled, he seemed to be welcoming her nicely. She walked closer again and watched him. "May i join you?" she asked glancing at the bone next to him and the spot beside him she wanted to lay in with him. He seemed interesting, and had already won points with her by calling her a princess, obviously he saw her as what she really was, and that made her very happy.

Immediately the male was put in a pickle.. Share his very hard earned trophy with another, or welcome this beautiful and seemingly sane female near him? "No way would I be able to deny such a beautiful face. Will you give me a name to call you or will Princess and Handsome be the extent of our name usage?" Cleverly played he thought, this way he could test more if she was just going to take off with his bone or stay to chat a while with him, for him.

She laughed a little, he was very smooth. "You can call me Princess if you want, but my name is Aphrodia. My owner named me after some goddess or something i think, i don't understand human ways." she said with a smile as she walked into the yard and lay next to him, not touching the bone till he said she could nom on it. "And you are?" she asked with a smile as she looked him over now that she was closer. She sniffed at the air around him and tilted her head to the side and waited for his answer.

As any male with manners would do for royalty, Diomedes stood up as she came to lay beside him and waited until she was settled to return to his spot. A final goodbye was visually given to the bone before nodding her permission to have it. Perhaps there was something to this whole having big things beside a small dog idea.
"Beautiful name, Aphrodia." Slowly he let the name slip off of his tongue before he continued, "My owner is obsessed with mythology. Named my father Ajax and me Diomedes." Shrugging off the meaning behind it all he sniffed in her general direction now that she was closer and became instantly confused.
"I smell no male? How is it that such a beautiful Princess has no Prince?"

Aphrodia pulled the bone towards herself and sniffed it and licked it a few times, it tasted good. She looked up at him and smiled. "Its very nice to meet you Diomedes. I like the name alot." she said as she chewed the bone a little, happy he asked about whither she had a male or not. "Male? Oh there haven't been any males i approve of in the area so i'm not taken." she said with a smirk as she watched him. She hadn't found one but things were looking up.

With a small smirk Diomedes nodded towards her, "Well thank you. I take the fact that you are still here beside me I take as a great compliment." He nodded to solidify the genuinity behind his words.
"You may say my name as much as you desire, m'lady." Of course he was teasing a bit, but a some level serious.
"I do hope you enjoy the bone. I duped my brother out of his after our Mother's owner gave them to us. He thought he could beat me at a game we play.. I of course won." It was about the first time he had won the game in their adulthood, however that little bit of information didn't need to be shared a this point in time.

Aphrodia smiled at him. She liked this male. He was sweet and knew a princess when he saw one. "I take the fact that you were able to part with this bone for the moment to be a great complement as well." She said with a smile as she nomed on it a little. She glanced at him as he told her about winning the game against his brother. "What kinda game do you play against him? Maybe you can teach me?" she asked with a smirk as she scooted a little closer to him hoping to learn this game, and to be closer to the pretty male.

"Well you are quite welcome, I'm starting to believe I made the correct decision." At her question he nommed on his bone a bit. Diomedes thought about wrestling around with the female and inched closer to her.
"I don't think you'd be much interested in it.. It mostly consists of rolling around trying to pin the other, not stopping until the other gives up." Now if she wanted to do such physical things with him, he could probably think of something else to do with her.

Aphrodia's eyes opened wide and she looked at him. "Ohh well if i'm going to get dirty and covered in grass i don't think i wanna play. I don't like getting dirty and if Kisa sees me covered in dirt i'll have to take a bath and i don't want to do that either. I can clean my self just fine, though i have to have her other dog get parts of my back, i cant get all of it my self, it is a rather long back." she said as she angled her back towards him and smiled as she looked over her shoulder at him. "Don't you think so?" she asked with a smile. She noticed how close they were and she took a slow deep breath as the wind blew his scent towards her filling her nose with his rich scent.

Diomedes looked up and down the female's then up into her eyes. Those eyes captivated him, perhaps it was the look that she was giving him or his own mind in the gutter that gave the look it's power.
"Long and beautiful, as a beautiful female dachshund such as yourself should have."
Smooth talker? Not quite where his father was at.. But he did try. With some more practice he would get more smooth with his words. So sprung on the female he hardly noticed that she ejoyed his scent so much.
"Please forgive me if I'm out of line.. But if you ever need someone else to get your back for you.. I would be more than willing..."

Aphrodia giggled softly as she listened to his words. She fluttered her eyes softly as his smoothness washed over her. She nodded and looked up at him. "I would love it greatly if you would help me clean my self when i need it. It would be more enjoyable then having the slobbering pups that my owner has help. Most of the time they have crumbs in their mouth still and smear them all over my beautiful fur!" she said as she made a face of disgust. "I smelled so bad with the food in my fur that i had to roll in my clean fluffy bed to get the smell out and i smelled like me again." she said as she chewed on the bone a little more. She glanced up at him and then raised her head again. "And if you ever need help cleaning your back, i would be pleased to help as well." She said with a smile as she wagged her tail slowly.
