Mikoru just sat on a bench, kicking her legs as she watched the track. Her toes barely scrapped the floor, but everyone elses were flat on the ground. She took notice of this and moped. She wanted to be taller. Taller than all of them at this school.

Sighing deprsingly, she jumped off and strolled away. Almost everyday, she was picked on by another student because of her small scale. However, it was random, whenever she wanted to join in. She looked up in the sky.

She really wanted to be taller, but she told no one about it.

Miroku made a small growl, showing off his hand whil fixing her own hair. "Mike, cut it out! It's not like I wanted to be short!" She fussed. She just got finished moping about it, and now it was resurfacing again.

'Hmmm! j Just you wait, I'll grow larger than... everyting someday!' She thought harshly as she walked away. Unfortunetely, she ran right into a pole as she turned to her frontside.

"O-owie..."

Sure. Add insult to injury, why don't you...?

"That's not funny!" She yelled, stomping her foot before storming away to get thi injury taken care of.

As she made it to the nurses office, She helped herself and placed a bandage on her nose. She was about to leave, when she caught notice of a book that seemed to be out of place. She got curious and flipped over the pages. eventually, she caught sight of something and took her backpack off, and got out a notebook and a piece of paper and copied it to the letter. This took he the rest of the period as school ended, but she copied every letter to the t. She closed the book and stuffed the note in her backpack.

As she proceeded home, she thought back at what he had said to her.

"Big meanie..." She huffed.

As she entered the house, she marched up to her room and tossed her backpack onto the bed, and then flopped on it herself. She thought her nose stopped bleeding (even though it never bled to begin with), so she took the bandage off. She decided that she had nothing better to do and decided to take a glimpse of that note.

'...Let's see...' She thought, looking through the list. "...What the? these are just... Ugh, whatever..."

~The next day...~

"Okay, time to put this to the test..." Miroku mummered, taking the vial of liquid out of the freezer and chugging it down, barely in one gulp. It tasted of a combination of things thet wern't so well tasting.

She waited. five minutes passed. ten minutes... fifteen...

"Oh, what's the use?" She mummered disapointedly, going upstairs to get her bag. the handles on it felt a bit... odd.

"Ugh... I'm such an idiot... beliving tha note... Now I'm short AND have a bad taste in my mouth." Miroku grumbled, a bit mad at herself that what she wanted didn't work. However, as she got out of her yard, she felt a sharp pain in her gut, and it shot out all over her body. There was a strange movement on the ground, but she was too busy trying to shake off the pain. Then it all just... stopped.

"Geez... what was that about...?" she mummered, rising into the... air? No, her feet was still on the ground. She glimpsed over at her house, and made a small gasp. She could see above the roof!

Miroku grinned. This had meant that her days as the short one was over! That ment everyone would have to look UP to her. Litterally. "Heh, how ironic..." She said, deciding to cut through. She slipped between the buildings, accidently crushing the fence along the way. She took note of this and walked toward the school, and toward Mike.

"Hello Mike..." he said, bending down to pick him up. The trees didn't even come up to he knee as she stood 30ft in height. "...So, how does it feel to be on the other side of the wall, hm?"
