Since the newest game of Star Fox came out in 2006 and we haven't heard anything on the next one. I was wondering on what other peoples thoughts are on the next addition to the Star Fox series. 3nodding

Janurary 2007 for me.. But release dates aside..

Last I heard of anything StarFox related was last year. From what they said it sounded like they are in the really early process of designing one. It could be a long wait specially if it's for the Wii. We also don't know if another company is making it or not.

I suddonly got a random thought of Nintendo holding "who makes the next StarFox game lottery". rofl

StarFox may not be popular like Mario or Zelda but it still sells. Some games can take up to 5 years to release and Nintendo aren't going to be saying anything about it until near the release date.

All we really need right now is just to know if one is being made and who is making it. If one isn't being made will there be a future one?

The people behing StarFox Command said they mgiht make one in the future for the DS.

We are just in for a long wait.

Well there is still that fan made SF game to look forward to...
But as far as official games, it does indeed seem to be one of those games in which it has been around for a long time but the output of new games is very slow. I would love to see a SF game for the Wii though.

Some games just take forever to come out with a new title. Look at Metroid. There was an 8 year gap between super and fusion/prime. But you know what that means? It's just gonna be that much better when it does come out.

It always makes me wounder.. If the games came out faster they obviously didn't take much care into making them.. Yet when we are made to wait longer time we complain even more.

But we can only hope that the game would be great considering how long they take to put it out.

Compare something like Silent Hill to Resident Evil. RE keeps tossing in more games a lot faster than Silent Hill does.

Then there's also the MGS series, games put out by Blizzard, and like mohkie said Metroid. Personally, I feel that the games that take their time in being released tend to be of higher quality.

hey, as long as they dont screw us over by saying they are making a new Star Fox, then keep on pushing it back unitll its cancelled. Just like what Blizzard did with StarCraft Ghost. And even then, there is a large time gap between Brood war and Starcraft2.
