I grew up in a christain house and my parents are true belivers in god but im sort of skeptical about the whole thing. theres no GOOD proof that god made this earth and created everyone on it. Seems like a load of crap to me. Can someone explain to me what is up there? What should i belive in?

Ok, first of all... NO ONE can EVER tell you what to believe in. NO ONE.
And SHAME on someone who believes in God for doing so.
In the Bible it states clearly that God gave humans the freedom of choice (this is what makes humans different from angels). It says in the Bible
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
This verse is proof that God intended for your "salvation" to be something intimate and holy with him and you have to publicly profess it. BUT it is still YOUR choice. If someone makes you do it, it does not count.
I personally do not believe in God, gods, goddesses, aliens, the devil, demons, or any other supernatural being that anyone has ever thought of.
Why?
Because if you look at Art History, not just religious or history in general, but Art History... You can see patterns, "corrections", and mistakes.... though out the entire bible, koran/qur'an, and other holy books and manuscripts.
The bible alone as we know it today, was updated under the authority of King James to reflect the episcopal structure of the church of england. (wiki of Authorized King James Version)
Then in the The Carolingian Era the bible was changed to give women even less of role in society other than to make babies and do as the husband says.
So yeah, your suspicions are correct. There is not any hard evidence that God exists. Yes, there may have been a man named Jesus who existed and maybe he died on a cross. But that was a standard execution in that era for anyone who was a thief, murderer, or anyone who opposed the authorities.
But if you are someone who needs something in your life that is bigger than you are... I would suggest Karma and Dharma.
Dharma comes before Karma. Dharma is all the actions that you take, it is Hindu belief that you should live your life according to Dharma... which is doing good by yourself, your family, your community and the universe... Basically live by the golden rule and you are good (Do to others as you would have them do to you). And Karma is what you reap from the actions that you do. The more and better that you do, the more good Karma you get, and good Karma is what the Hindu belief system strives for.
Basically it is the belief that the universe has a great big cosmic checks and balances system... (hopefully the kind that works a little better than our government). xd
But yeah... Like I was saying... Only you can decide what you want and are willing to believe. No one else. Tell your parents that while you respect their concern for your life and your soul you will continue to honor them by being an outstanding, upright, moral citizen but It clearly states that accepting christ is a decision that you have to make for yourself when you are ready. And make sure that the harder they push the subject the more they are likely to drive you away from him. It is like trying to make a 3 year old take medicine that taste bad. It may be good for them... but the more a parent pushes the issue that the child "must" take it... the harder the child fights back.
But... there is something you have to do in order for your parents to trust you with this decision. You MUST be the upright citizen that you promised your parents that you would be. That means that you have a moral obligation to your parents to not do things that will get you into trouble or breaks their rules.

I am the same way. I have my doubts about what is up there.
I grew up in a Mormon [The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints] family.
I never felt right going to church. Nothing that was said ever inspired me and I never felt welcome.
That is why I started doubting the existence of God and Jesus.
Over the years I have realized that yes, maybe there is some kind of God up there, but if that were indeed so, then it shouldn't matter what I believe. As long as that God can see what's in my heart and the reasons behind my actions, then I should be fine.
There are those days when I wonder if I am making the correct decision to not believe what "my" church tells me, but when it comes right down to it, if I end up going to Hell, then at least I can say that I lived my life to the fullest.

I myself am an atheist. And I don't think I'm a bad person. It depends on what YOU want. Its a personal choice and doesn't make you good or bad. I look at it all in good spirits. When I'm told I'm going to hell my reply is usually: "At least it'll be warm there". Hope this helps a bit.

well I look more to Scientology than religious beliefs on creation but I would not call myself atheist because that means you will not ever have a religion but I am undecided with certain things because one religion I agree with certain stuff and also disagree along with several others

Wow I'm glad to know I'm not alone on the matter. I lost my belief after my dog died. I had already pretty much lost fate and that set me over. I asked "God" to let my dog live for one more day that's all but he passed away the next day. The vet talked like he would live a few days but I knew he won't.

It is impossible to explain if there is a higher power. You are, however, entitled to your own beliefs. heart
