Tiarnan Vaera went through a name change when he turned twelve. He was suddenly prophesied to become the savior of their people, and hence was rechristened Moraedin, after the first man who had lead them into power on the throne of Oserra.
When Moraedin was two, his people, the Sent, were cast out of society by a king who reclaimed the throne for the original rulers -- pagans.
Thirty years have passed since Moraedin was called, and now, after those three decades, his plans to make war on Oserra have come to fruition. While he prepares to sail away from the Sent's island refuge, King Edric Arkain of Oserra too readies for the coming war.
However, neither man can expect the convoluted path ahead of them. As heaven is torn down around them, Moraedin and Edric's heirs vie for the world's throne.
