Introduction
Two twin sisters are having the worst year in their tenth grade high school life. They get so sick of it that, that they run into the nearby forest to chill for a while. In the forest, they get suck back into the time of their grandparents, finding that their life is better there. They find that they have certain magical talents and they meet their grandparents at their age. They go to an all girls magic school, with a boys’ magic school across the street. They made a bunch of ‘old people’ friends that they knew in the future. But they're not old. Cuz' it's the past and all.

Basic Story
In the past, there used to be magic schools that were separated by gender. Though there was no difference in the power of the two genders, men looked down upon the women, forcing them to go to different schools. Now, 70 years later, 15 year olds Natalie and Greta get sucked back those 70 years and have to endure that sexism. They show that they can beat the men and still stay kind like women.

Rules
you must read these before you join. There are the usual rules that people put in their RPs and also ones that may be specific to this RP.
1) Follow Gaia’s TOS
2) No godmoding or powerplaying EVER!
3) PM me all profiles. I like to check and make sure everything is set up correctly.
4) Be nice! If you don’t, people won’t like you, and you will most likely get kicked out.
5) Don’t post until you are accepted by me! If you post before that, you WILL NOT get accepted, even if your profile was phenomenal.
6)Short posts are okay, but less than two sentences is unacceptable.
7)All OOC posts should be shown in some way ex: ((blah blah blah))
cool If you don’t post for more than three days/ three pages(unless we really get going, and three pages comes uber fast~!) of the RP, you will be kicked out. So, keep active! (This doesn’t count if you say beforehand that you are leaving for whatever period of time. I would like you to get your character alone if you do this.)
9) You do not have to read the pages of posting that people made before you joined. Your character wouldn't of been there, so they have no clue what happened the other characters in the ast, so why should you have to?
10)These rules may be changed at any time by me. If you have another rule you would like me to add, tell me in either a PM or OOC

There are more characters other than Natalie and Greta. I just knew beforehand that those were two characters. I planned this out with my friend, c0nfu53d, so she has as much power over the rules as I do.
If you think that I should add something here or anywhere else, tell either me or c0nfu53d and it should happen if we like the idea.
Q&A
These are all going to be anonymous, unless the person asks to be named.
Q: Can I make a character that is old in the future, but a teenager in the past?
A: Of course. The point was to have people from the future know the people in the past. I think it makes things more interesting.

Character profiles
You may use any colors you like, or the ones below. There are more characters than just Natalie and Greta! I just knew before hand that those were going to be the first two characters.
So, the characters that you create must be human, and you may use any type of image for the picture (no inappropriate or ecchi ones~!). If you want to, you can describe your person in detail instead of that.
One more thing. If you want elemental magic, your specialty would be Elemental. You don't need to choose a specific element for your character to use, but you can say that your character uses mostly fire, water, wind, darkness, light, or earth. Character Name: Natalie Steffen
Age: 15
Magic Specialty: Telekinesis and Telepathic with her fraternal twin sister.
Short Bio: After growing up separate from her sister, they met at the age of 8. They immediately were friends, and were close by each other no matter what would happen. As she grew up with her sister for the rest of her life, they entered middle and high school together, finding that it was more fun to play alone with Greta and no one else. She still made a few friends with older people, as she felt bad for them that they couldn't do much by themselves. Finally, in her sophomore year at her high school, she would watch her sister get picked on my jocks, and she wouldn't be able to help, though she always tried, and ended up getting bruised and scraped up.
Personality: Natalie is looked upon as the rebellious one. Her teachers, and even the students try to keep away as they think she would hurt them if they got to close. Maybe she would if they made her angry. Though looked upon as dangerous, this only started because she was fun loving. She'd do whatever it took to have a good time, even if it meant making others mad at her or hurting them. She is sometimes called demonic, as she focuses mainly on what she wants except when it comes to her sister. She is constantly aggressive, unlike her twin, so you'd best stay out of her way if you piss her off. ~*~  Username: c0nfu53d

Magic Specialty: Teleportation and Telepathy
Short Bio: Madelyn's family is tightly knit together, and they take care of each other no matter what. Because of this, Madelyn is protective of them. She used to keep her younger brother from getting into fights at school. Though later in her life her brother started looking down on her like all the other men in the 1930s. She decided that she should show the men, including her brother, who was really weaker, and her brother goes to the boy's magic school across the street from hers. She excels in school while her brother fails, and he now accepts she is better, but still looks down on other women.
Madelyn's parents are alive and well, and still talk to her and her brother on occasion. They are retired and usually are out on vacations in climates ranging from tropical to frozen tundra. Madelyn loves the adventurous souls of her parents, and hopes that one day she can be like them too. For now, she focuses on making new friends and her school work, trying to maintain a higher grade than her brother and the other boys she knows.
Personality: She's always looking for new friends. She's happy most of the time, though like everyone else she gets lows, too. She works hard and earns everything she gets, and when she gets something she didn't think she earned, she'll turn it down. Short Bio: Born and raised in an Irish household, he upheld the worst of the stereotypes and was nothing more than a punk. When he was small, his house burned down, scarring him for the rest of his life. Something happened during the 30's, however, that made him change. He joined the military for WWII and lived a good long life. Something made him fight to stay alive, as he had almost died many times during war.
Personality: In the girls' age, he's the doting old man who runs the nearby clothes store. Aiden is kind to all the children, but most of all the twins. He was never married, but all the kids whisper about how he had a thing for a girl back when he was a teenager. Whenever around Natalie, however, he seems to be very sad. In the 30's, Aiden was the biggest punk in town. He ruled his school, and terrorized girls. He's the epitome of sexist pigs in the 30's. ~*~  Username: Tomha_Domizoko

Short Bio: Tomha is an orphan child who has always been curious of the dark arts. A book he read mentions a God of darkness, but this was not an evil god. The idea of using what was considered evil for good sounded promising to Tomha, so he became the star pupil of a Dark Mage who seems to never reveal his real name. Tomha never met his parents since they abandoned him at a orphanage. Tomha doesn't seem to care about that so he can focus on his reading.
Personality: Somewhat distant, private and preserved. He rather not enter situations unless he can very well back up his words. Not hesitant to defend his beliefs. He doesn't like people who instantly judge any form of magic. Now he is on his own, living in the woods in a small handmade tree-house. He uses his magics to call on animals and then kill them so he can survive in the woods.Personality: He is a calm and collected person but very easy to anger. Magic Specialty: Time conmtrol, though only limited to slowing or stopping for short peroids, is working on going back and forth
Short Bio: Born to a house known for mages, Alex was trained to control his magical power at a young age, however he needed to pick a field of speacilazation, Changes had always fascinated him, and time always changed things so it made sence that he chose time as his magic feild, thought his skills are rough he's working at it.
Personality: Thought he's from a higher social class, he's not a snob about it. He's a nice guy with abit of a cold face, he's protective of his friends and is always happy to share his knowledge with anyone interested. ~*~  Username: xXBisexual FlanXx
Character Name: Kiatori "Grampy/Grandpere" Cambiaen
Age: 17/87
Magic Specialty: Voodooism, can change his arm into that of a bear and grow fangs.
Short Bio: Kiatori was born in the time of sexism. He was one of those people who just sort of went along with it. He didn't really care, actually, as long as he was allowed to be alone most of the time. He never talked much, and was known as 'that kid who presses flowers and talks to animals'. He didn't, actually, talk to animals. He just sat and stared at them as if he wanted to talk. The reason for his silence? His homelife was messed up. Like, waaaay messed up. His father seemed to hate him, punching him across the room when he forgot to do the dishes or something, or forcing his face in and out of a tub of cold water. His mother never tried to stop her husband, except for once.
His father stabbed him in the eye, and she ran up to him, flailing angrily and telling him that what he had done already was quite enough. Kiatori's body was in shock from the pain of the eye, so he didn't feel it. He just realized that his father turned on his mother with the knife. So he attacked. His father scorned Kiatori after that, hated him even more after he had actually gone after him, biting and scratching. His mother had run out of the room and called the police and the ambulance, then made a run for it. Kiatori never saw her again, but his father smacked him around even more often than ever. And eventually Kiatori got sick of it. So he got out of there and started living on the streets. People tended to avoid him, since he was a little weird looking, with a cloth eyepatch and a blueish black iris on the working one. In an attempt to forget and such, he joined in during WWII, working to become a marine. He really wanted to die. But he didn't die. He lived to his current age. When the war was over, he tried to figure out what to do with himself.
And then he met Marion. Marion was a beautiful girl, but she was three years younger than him. Not like that mattered to him or to her. They got engaged, and later, married, but that was when he was twenty.
Personality: When he was younger, he was silent, always looking on from afar, but he would always protect small children, or kids his age, or nature. Sexism isn't something he fought for, but he didn't fight against it, either. It never mattered much to him. Nothing ever did. As an old man, he turned a bit harder, like one of those old people who is kind of...not really old. He still uses guns(He's got a couple in his house)for if his house is under attack or the like. He says that 'the police won't do a damned thing. You gotta do it yourself.'

Natalie walked down the hall of her school, late to class. She didn't care. Her teachers knew her as the rebellious girl, and though she wasn't the nicest, she was definitely the smartest in her homeroom, save for her sister. She walked with her back slouched back, kind of looking gangster-ish. She had a single binder tucked under her arm and she opened the door to her classroom loudly and then slammed it shut behind her. The teacher looked up at her, wide-eyed from the noise. Natalie flung her binder over people's heads and it landed on her desk in the back of the room. She walked over to it, hands in her pockets and still slouching. She sat down, and made a gesture with her hand that somehow seemed to inappropriate and a 'continue with the lesson' gesture at the same time. Probably because she stuck out her middle finger and spun it in a small circle angled slightly at the teacher. The teachers frowned at her and made a 'tsk' noise, but took her marker and made a mark on the attendance sheet, probably saying that Natalie was late again. Natalie held back a snicker as a few students looked back at her as if she had done something horribly wrong. The teacher continued to write on the whiteboard.
The bell rang about three minutes after Natalie had sat down, and she had already fallen asleep on her desk. Someone walked by, hitting her a little to get her up. She rose immediately and stood erect. "Who touched me?" she yelled.
((c0nfu53d try to get our characters to the woods, or even all the was to the past with your next post. Star wants to be able to hang out with other girls on her first post, I guess.))

Old man Aiden was sitting in his store, resting his bones. He was old, thin, frail, and wrinkly, and his scar hurt. It reached from his face, to his left hip and hand. He held up an old stale cigarette, like he usually would, and just looked at it. It was old, wrinkled, and stale, like him. It looked like it was just some long old and forgotten cigarette. But Aiden knew better. He looked at the old cigarette, and turned it, revealing writing on the side. The writing itself was beautiful, and to him it was perfect. It wrote: 'Always yours, from now to the end of time'. Aiden sighed and put the cigarette away in it's hidden space inside the cash register, and waited for customers. The school had just started so it would be a while before any customers would come. Maybe he should take a nap...

Looking around, realizing that no one would answer her question, Natalie picked up her bag and stomped out the door. Forget this. I'm in a bad mood today. She thought as the next bell rang for the next class to start. She walked out of the school building and off the campus. She walked to the nearest place she hung out. It was a clothing store, and she knew that the owner wouldn't mind having her there, if only to relive his boredom. "Hey, Aiden!" She called as a greeting. She plopped down on the floor, leaning against the counter. She opened her bag and took out a pack of gum. She took a piece and offered one to her old friend.

As Natalie walked in, for a moment Aiden's eyes flashed a sign of sorrow and pain, but quickly narrowed. He stood up, showing just how tall he was, even hunched over as an old man and leaned over the counter.
"Why, I do believe you're supposed to be in school, little lass. Now just what the hell do you think you're doin'?"
Aiden's Irish accent was thick, and was dripping anger. He snatched the piece of gum, and his 'bad' eye twitched.
"And just what the hell is this supposed to be?! Are you tryin' to kill me little girl?! I'm so old I just might choke on this!"
For a moment, there was silence, then Aiden flashed a toothy grin and started laughing. It was always his little joke to needlessly chastise her upon sight.

Natalie popped a bubble. "If you choked then I'm sure we would all hold a big funeral and you would be able to rest in peace." She was still sitting, but she was looking up at Aiden now, smiling as well.
"I would be in school, but the teachers are annoying and my sister didn't wake me up on time, so I was late. I figured that as long as you're here, you can teach me better than any of those overrated college-level teachers," Natalie said, trying to compliment the old man, "not to mention I was in a bad mood. You always cheer me up, though." She grinned a toothy grin at him, and then blew another bubble.

Aiden smiled wider at the compliment.
"Why thank you, lass. Oi, wanna see a magic trick?"
Aiden was renown among the children for performing magic tricks and sleight of hand. Apparently the old codger was a bit more agile than he looked.

"Sure, why not?" Natalie stood and put her elbows on the counter. She put her head in her hands, and waited for Aiden to show his magic trick. Off in the distance, Natalie could barely hear the break bell ringing for some of the freshmen students. It'd been fifteen minutes since she left campus.

Aiden grabbed a deck of cards and set it down on the counter. He divided into four equal decks, then shuffled them many times, combining, splitting, shuffling, then dividing. In the end, he finally left the cards in four decks, and looked to Natalie. He tapped the deck the furthest to his right.
"Right, now take the first three cards from this deck and put it on the bottom, then take the next three cards and spread them all to the different decks. Then repeat on all the other decks until this one."
Aiden motioned to the deck furthest to his left, then leaned back. He loved doing this little card trick. It always mystified kids on how he did it. It was a modified version of a trick he learned as a kid.
