Bio: Growing up watching wrestling, Cody dreamed of once becoming a wrestler and be one of the greatest like one of his favorite wrestlers, Jushin Thunder Lyger. After graduating high school, he went to wrestling school to begin training, but had difficulties with the style. While at the school, he made a vow to eventually get to Japan to train with the legends of Japanese wrestling. A couple of months pass as Cody begins working indy shows to start his journey to his vow of training. Luck would happen to fall on Cody has he was selected to compete for a tournament in Japan in which he would get a chance to train with the best Japanese wrestlers, providing he does well in the tournament. Despite not winning the tournament, some of the trainers/wrestlers were amazed by Cody and allowed him to recieve training by them. Once his training was complete, he flew back to America, wrestling in more indy shows until he arrives to GWA to attempt his dream of becoming the greatest.
In April of 2005, Cody Bogard made his debut in GWA looking rather un-wrestler like in wearing goth pants and fishnet shirt, getting the victory over Matthew Rutherford aka Something Mysterious. After recieving his first loss at the third show against Chris Strike, Bogard went over to Japan in some sort of rediscovery and training of some sort in preperation for the Triple Threat Match to be the #1 Contender for the GWA Gambino Title at Soul Survivor. When the day of the match arrived, Bogard made his glorius return, this time looking like a wrestler and some new moves, getting the victory over both Strike and Rutherford. The true test of the training came to ahead at the Damaged show following Soul Survivor where Cody faced off against the newly crowned GWA Gambino Champion, Rick "Rocker" Shaddock. Despite the size disadvantage, Cody showed his burning spirit that would be known with Bogard and managing to beat the mighty Rocker to win his first title in the GWA.
The joy of winning the title wouldn't last too long as Hated quickly set his sights on Cody and the Gambino title. After taking a part in the 10 Man High Flying/Hardcore tag match at Blitzkrieg, Cody set his sights on his new rival as both men took some shots on each other, leading up to the big match at Road to El Durado, where Cody successfully defended his title over all three of his opponents in the Gambino Gauntlet, the last man in the gauntlet being Hated in a very heated and exciting match, both men suddenly shaking hands at the end of the match after going through hell. During the Gambino Gauntlet, Cody faced off in the 2nd leg of the gauntlet against an up and comer by the name of Danny "Demonstar" Daemon. After going through a brutal battle, Cody looks almost defeated when Bogard all of the sudden takes a swig of the water he was using between falls to recover and spat a mist of water at Demonstar, causing some crazy pain on him. It turns out that there was a bit of holy water in the bottle which allowed Bogard to take advantage and win the fall. This action led to something pretty unexpected...
Now Cody was looking at not only Demonstar, but at two friends of his in The Rejects that were looking to destroy Cody. This in turn led to the formation of the Samurai Army with his friend Sofia and fellow high flyers Hurricane Aaron and David von Lichenheim. Both groups would face off in seperate matches at Sudden Impact, where Cody and Demonstar faced off mano a mano for the Gambino title. The match did nothing to end the fued as the Rejects got Demonstar DQed just as Cody was looking for the kill. This turned into a war between the Army and the Rejects, the title taking a backseat as this was more personal. After some tough matches, the big finale to the fued came to ahead at Perfect Execution in a Six Man 2/3 Falls Match with the Army and Rejects where after each fall, the teams send one member to the back. This would lead to Cody bringing in another friend of his in Kale Amoh to replace Aaron who was critically injured by the Rejects. Cody and his Army won the war over the Rejects, while keeping his hold on the Gambino Title.
After one more title victory over Rejects member Spyke Gein, the GWA officials decided to retire the Gambino title due to lack of challengers. Cody did feel a bit disappointed in no longer being a title holder but he did in part feel honored to be one of the last Gambino title champions and going undefeated with the title, holding a moving promo about the Gambino title, leaving it in the middle of the ring. Lucky for him, the GWA Officials decided to give him a shot at the GWA High Time Title (currently the GWA Openweight title), but someone was against this and that was Dan "Majic" Stryker, who wanted the title shot he was robbed of at a previous event. Officials decided that Majic and Cody would face off in a best of three series for the #1 Contender spot for the High Time title, starting at A Strange Twist of Fate, where even with Cody's little homage to one of his idols in Jushin Thunder Lyger, Majic pulled a surprise victory over Bogard to go up 1-0. The anger Cody felt at being cheated in the first match led to some confidence going into match two, the Strap Match at No Regrets, No Remorse. Cody didn't take long to use the Strap to his advantage and gaining the much needed victory to even the score at 1-1, leading up to the big deciding match at One Step Closer. This was no ordinary match, it was a Ladder is Legal match, something pretty new to Cody. Both men took each other to the limit, culminating with Cody going up to the top of the ladder and pulling off a MIGHTY frog splash to win the series and get a shot at the High Time Title.
This was something big for Cody as he would end up facing one of the biggest faces in the GWA in Sparco Goliath. Both men would have some warm up matches against other opponents and meeting in a tag match with their respective teammates (Sparco with Joker, Cody with Kale) where Cody and Kale pick up the win over the New Disease. The big night arrived as Cody finally got his long awaited shot against Sparco at Brave New World. Sparco was more reluctant to accepting Cody before the match began, making Bogard work for his respect as both men took it to new levels as biggest meeting of two popular men go at it in an exciting match. The end saw Bogard busting out two Excalibur Slashes and the emergance of the Galaxian Explosion to finish off Sparco and capture not only the High Time title, but gain the respect of one of the best wrestlers in the GWA.
Now after returning from a small break and a successful defense of the Openweight title over Demonstar, Bogard faces an even greater challenge in three challengers in the hot rookie Ice, the tough and nearly legendary Riona Langly, and an old rival Hated in a Four Corner Survival Match at the GWA 1st Anniversary Show...

A figure in a white shiny long jacket emerges, standing while looking at the fans as he stands in the shadows. The figure emerges as strobe lights go off to reveal....CODY BOGARD!!!!! Cody makes his way to the ring (alone or with Sofia).

Big Match/GWA-AoA Fued Entrance: The lights begin to dim down as the arena and crowd is silent... the opening verses of "King of Kings" ring through the arena.

The intro goes into the rock style intro of "The Edge" , once finished, Cody comes rushing in through the curtain to the entranceway to a hail of cheers from the crowd as he appears with Sofia right next to him. The Burning Avenger appears wearing a navy shiny long coat along with the navy short tights with the black Prada triangle on the front with the word "BURNING" on top of the triangle in gold and the Big Dipper constellation on the back.

Cody starts walking down to the ring, slapping some of the hands of the fans while Sofia follows behind him. As he gets closer to the ring, he starts running towards the ring and springs up quickly to the apron, looking around in the crowd before climbing the turnbuckle as Sofia stands near Cody's corner.

Cody raises his head and throws his arms and fists into the air, posing for the fans, then jumping off the turnbuckle, looking at his opponent or waiting for his opponent.
