This is just a thread in which you can generally discuss avis. You can ask for advice with your avi, discuss possible improvements for the avis in the future, talk about avi contests and the arena, or anything else related, really...

Alright. So, I have a question for the guild concerning avis: On average, how often do you change your look? Personally, I change about three or four times every two weeks. Anybody else as restless as I am?

For me, it depends. If I REALLY REALLY like my avi, I will usually keep it for a while. This tends to be when I have a lot of gold. Then I spend the gold, really want to change my avi, and can't because I can't afford any of the stuff I want to put on it. crying But generally, I change mine once every three weeks or so. I think it also depends on whether or not I'm actually on Gaia a lot during that time.

I loved my avatar and didn't change it for months. I finally gave in and changed it (just for the sake of changing it). I don't like it as much, but now I'm changing small things once every week or two.

To be honest, every time one of my EIs change, so every 3 weeks or so? That's why I love EIs. They change constant and then opens up a whole set of ideas for an avi based on a certain pose or theme. So right now I've got the Reve Rouille going and that makes me think of a sorta steampunk-y sinsiter circus master or something. So that's what I do.

I change mine about once every week or so. I haven't been on Gaia as much lately though, so lately I've just been changing it to match the weather here...
As you can tell, the weather has been nice lately.

I change mine maybe once every year or two.
I have piles of gold I just end up giving away.

OI change mine whenever I get bored with the same old thing. I do have a file to save all of my avis in so I don't forget my history!

Hey y'all! I just submitted my avi to the arenas yesterday, so...what do we think? If you feel like voting for it, it's under The Vampire Mystic.

I think... I'm pretty satisfied with this look at the moment. 4laugh Probably because my avi looks cooler than I actually am. sweatdrop If the mood suited me and I had the gold(or cash as the case may be), I'd probably change it up a bit now and then.

I want to change my avi completely now, but I'm not sure exactly what I want to do and don't really have the gold for it.

I should have been a pair of ragged claws
Unless there's an event going on, I don't change my avatar but once every couple of months. I might add a few items as I see that they fit, but other than that, there are very few alterations.
I like to have "sets" that I can look back on and think, "Hey, remember when my avatar looked like that?"
Recently, I started taking screen shots of my avatar before I change it, and I keep them in my profile. That helps me keep track of them, and it also helps people who remember my username, but can't seem to recall the outfit.
