I would greatly appreciate any sympathy in this time of loss for me...I made a website in memory of my appointed "Horse Buddy" whom has had to be put down because of multiple serious leg injuries...there is no 3rd page of pics even though it says so, and there is a place to post a response...if you respond on it, please don't forget to say that you're from EoG so I know who it is. Losing a horse is awful. I'm sorry to read that yours has passed on.
I had to have my horse put down 5 years ago after we were in a serious riding accident together and she shattered her shoulder,the vet couldn't do anything.
It still makes me sad sometimes but you remember the good times and I reckon she's running around the big plane in the sky with her other horse friends who have died over the years.
Yours is probabaly there now too *sad smile*.

I am so sorry for your loss. crying This must be hard. You had a very beautiful horse. I lost a horse, too. A very special horse. He didn't die but he is a pony at the track and is already leased so I can never ride him again. sad He was very special. It'll be okay coping with a loss is hard but time has a way of helping heal. heart

I have lost a horse before. My very first horse Missy. She was the best horse i could have ever hoped for. After she died I found this poem it has alays made me cry, but in some way makes me feel comforted as well. I hope it helps.
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
