A grassy field, where the winds blow, is the sight of bloodshed and death. The green grass, as well as the ground, is stained crimson by blood. The sounds of clashing metal and horrid screams fill the air, and animals tread not too near the field of battle. Corpses in armor lay on the field as the people still alive fight.
'Men, we have to end this now!' a man with slightly different armor ordered. The men yelled as they slaughtered their enemies. Suddenly, from the darkened sky, a knight in diamond armor fell and created a crater. The other men stood still as they gazed at the shining armor.
'Listen to me, you must stop this!' the diamond knight ordered.
'Why?' the generals asked in angered voices.
'This fighting is pointless,' the diamond knight said. 'You kill when you should be working together. If you want the land, work together to build it and split it into equal territory.' Two kings walked towards the diamond knight.
'How could we work together?' one king said.
'We fight them because they want laws that only they believe in,' the other king said. Six warlords walked up.
'We want to rule our own kingdoms,' one warlord said.
'Who are you?' the kings asked.
'We are the Sacred Six of Hell,' they introduced themselves. 'We've been in battles for fifty years.'
'Then split the land between eight kingdoms,' the diamond knight suggested. 'And work together. That way, no more lives are lost for the kingdoms.' The eight talked for awhile.
'Okay, we will create our own kingdoms,' a king said. 'Who are you?' A knight charged at the diamond knight with a lance. The diamond knight unsheathed a sword and looked at the charging knight. The diamond knight grabbed the lance and thrust the blade into his chest. The knight fell and the diamond knight removed the helmet revealing a girl with long blue hair and glistening green eyes.
'I'm Aly Skye.' she smiled. All the men gawked.
'You’re a woman!' the men yelled.
'And?' Aly asked.
'Ahem, we will get started with the kingdoms,' a king said. With that, eight kingdoms were under way.
Twenty years later the eight kingdoms were built and stood tall. There was the Crimson Kingdom that stood in the volcanic area, the Cerulean Kingdom that stood on the land near the ocean, the Hazel Kingdom stood in the dense forest, the Jade kingdom sat on the windy planes, the Shadow Kingdom stood in the dark caves, the Light Kingdom sat in the sunny hills and the two other kingdoms of Gold and Silver were in an identical area, only opposite of each other, and in the middle stood the palace of the Diamond Knight. Sadly, for the past two years, a war was raging. It was caused by the assassination of the Crimson Kingdom’s king, Sanryu Cri. The Crimson Kingdom blamed the Cerulean and Jade Kingdoms, but the two kingdoms blamed the rest. This led to the kingdoms’ shattered trust and the war. The Crimson king's son, Ken Cri, had since taken over the Kingdom.
'Bishop, have you told the other rulers about the meeting in the Diamond Palace?' Ken asked.
'Yes, your majesty,' the bishop bowed.
'Mother, I'm off!' Ken cried out.
'Alright dear,' his mother, Luna said. Ken walked into ship.
'To Diamond Palace!' Ken ordered.
'Yes, sire,' the pilot said. The ship lifted off the ground, hovered for a few moments, and then flew away. He stood outside on the ship’s deck and stared at the passing land with a blank stare. He leaned on the rail and sighed. Suddenly, he felt hands grab his side. He let out a yell as he turned around. A girl giggled as he looked at her.
'Mina!' Ken cried out.
'Hello brother,' she smiled.
'Why are you here?!' Ken asked.
'I thought I'd follow you,' Mina said. Ken stared at Mina with an annoyed and angered look.
'Why?' Ken asked.
'You know, just to keep you company,' she laughed. Ken sighed.
'Sire, we are almost there,' the pilot announced through the intercom.
'Hmmm....' Ken thought as he stared out across the land again. Mina floated upside down as she looked at Ken.
'What's the matter, bro?' Mina asked.
'Stop bugging me,' Ken said as his eye twitched. 'You’re lucky I built you those legs.'
'Yeah, I'm very lucky,' Mina said as she stood next to him. 'Thank you.' Mina hugged her brother tightly.
'You’re welcome,' Ken said. The ship landed with a thud.
'Sire, we are at the meeting ground,' the pilot announced.
'Alright,' Ken nodded. 'Come on, Mina, they're waiting for us.'
'Well, let's hurry,' Mina smiled. The two walked off the ship and into a palace. They entered a large room with a round table smack dab in the middle. Around the table, eight people sat.
'Welcome,' Shoji Azulong, the Jade Kingdom's ruler, greeted.
'It's good to see you again, Ken,' Lily Umi, the Cerulean Kingdom's Empress, smiled.
'Always fashionably late, huh Ken?' May Lee, the Hazel Kingdom's ruler, smirked. Viper Hallow, the Shadow Kingdom's ruler, stared at Ken.
'Pleased to meet you again,' Noruiniv Sherry, Empress of the Light Kingdom, smiled.
'Hello. Long time no see,' Yomi and Jeun Boso, the twins rulers of the Gold and Silver Kingdoms, bowed.
'And who is this?' Aly chuckled. 'I thought it was a meeting of the rulers.'
'This is my sister, Mina Cri,' Ken said as he sat down. 'And thank you all for coming.'
'Hello! Nice to meet ya!' Mina chirped.
'Mina, sit down,' Ken sighed.
'Oh alright...' Mina groaned.
'After we’re finished here, I'll treat ya to stir fry,' Ken smirked.
'Yay!' Mina cheered. Everyone but Viper laughed.
'Now, onto business,' Ken's voice was sharp and cold as his eyes were focused. 'As you may know, my father, Sanryu Cri, has been assassinated. I'm here not to wage war, but to offer a peaceful solution.'
'Alright, let's hear it,' Aly said.
'My kingdom and I have forgiven whoever may have killed my father, but we would like to know who killed him,' Ken said.
'Are you kidding? It's got to be the Shadow Kingdom's doing!' Lily yelled.
'Now now, I did nothing and wouldn't think of crossing the great Crimson Kingdom,' Viper said defensively. After that, everyone yelled and pointed fingers, while Ken, Mina, and Aly sat back and watched. Ken stood up.
'Thank you for your time, and sorry for the trouble,' Ken bowed. 'Come on, Mina, let's go get that stir fry.'
'Alright!!' Mina jumped up and hugged her brother.
'But-' Everyone managed to say after a moment of silence.
'Lily, May, and Shoji, care to join us?' Ken smiled.
'Sure,' Lily returned the smile.
'You bet!' May grinned.
'Yes, thank you,' Shoji nodded. The rest of the people sat in silence, all except Aly, who was smirking.
'See everyone later!' Ken and Mina yelled as they walked out with the three. Ken opened the door.
'After you,' Ken beamed.
'Why thank you,' Lily said.
'Domo arigato,' May smiled.
'Very kind of you, Ken-san,' Shoji said.
'You’re all very welcome,' Ken said. The people left in the room stared at the five as they left.
'That was quite odd,' Yomi chuckled.
'Indeed,' Jeun chuckled along.
