The camp of DarkClan is and abandoned twoleg nest. Leaders den is in the attic, nursery is in a room on the ground floor, apprentices den is in a smaller room, warriors is near the apprentices but is bigger. Living room is the center. The medicine cat den is the kitchen area but there's not much only a water supply and good shelving for herbs. It is in very good condition despite it's abandonment. it's pretty clean and completely empty. The only room without wood flooring is the nursery which has carpet.

Shadepaw was laying under an end table as she ate a mouse peacefully. Her brother was little ways off, tending to his apprentice duties. Her whiskers twitched. She had just gotten the small mouse and it would hardly be enough to fill her.
Talonpaw saw Shadepaw with her tiny mouse and scoffed. The mouse-brained she-cat didn't deserve even that small a morsel. He stalked across camp and snatched the little brown rodent from under her dainty little paws.
Shadepaw gasped. "Talonpaw!" She complained and then quickly closed her mouth. She mewed a desperate apology.
Talonpaw growled. "Fox-hearted she-cat." He hissed. "You weren't going to finish this, were you?" He asked, eyes blazing. His claws unsheathed slowly.
Shadepaw glanced across the clearing to where Skypaw was. Her ears went down as she stared down at her paws. She nodded submissively.
Talonpaw laughed. "Good."
"Talonpaw!" Skypaw yowled from across the room. His tail lashed angrily.
Talonpaw glanced over at Skypaw. "Mind your own business, Skypaw." He mewed.
Skypaw glared but he dropped the issue when his sister shook her head at her.

 Snowkit walked into the living room watched Shadepaw sulk as her meal was taken from her. He ran over there with his stubby paws limping in a way. "Hello Shadepaw what are you up to." He asked his white puffy fur protecting his soft skin puffed up a bit with a slight breeze.

Poppypaw grabbed a small mouse and padded over to Shadepaw after Talonpaw left.
"Here, you can have part of mine." she mewed.

Shadepaw sighed as she stretched a little. "Not eating, apparently." She mewed pitifully. She shrugged her grayish shoulders. She smiled at the small white kit. He was absolutely adorable....but eventually he would grow up to be one of them. She cut her eyes towards Talonpaw. Her ears flicked. "Shouldn't you be in the Nursery?" She asked. She looked at Poppypaw then. "Thanks, Poppypaw!" She purred.
Talonpaw ate the mouse that he had stolen from Shadepaw. Once he had finished, he sat, watching Poppypaw share her freshkill. The tip of his tail switched back and forth.

"No problem. I don't know what i'd do if you weren't here to keep me sane!" Poppypaw replied.
Bonestar sat on the stairs to the attic, watching the camp come to life.
"Darkbone?" he called to his deputy.

Shadepaw gave a small, soft laugh. She took a bite of Poppypaw's freshkill. She glanced at Talonpaw. "I never thought it possible, Poppypaw but I think Talonpaw has his eye out for a particular she-cat." She mewed secretly.
Skypaw ran freshkill to the queens and elders and then went back for his own share.
Talonpaw rushed over to him and cuffed his ear, claws sheathed. "Your sister's a mouse-brain, you know." He mewed harshly.
Skypaw hissed and swiped at Talonpaw's face. His claws were unsheathed and extremly sharp. "My sister is none of your concern!" He growled, fur bristling.

"Reallly? Who?" Poppypaw asked curiously.
"Talonpaw! Skypaw!" Bonestar growled at the two apprentices, "Come here at once!"

Shadepaw laughed again. "You, silly." She purred, clearly amused. "You should see the way he stares at you all of the time....and never picks on you like he does the rest of us she-cats. You haven't noticed?" She tilted her head to the side a little.
Talonpaw's head snapped up to look at his Father. He arched his back and then ran up the stairs to his Leader. "Yes, Father?" He asked.
Skypaw took his time walking up the stairs to the Bonestar. Once there, he sat down calmly beside Talonpaw. "Yes, Bonestar?" He sighed, whiskers twitching.

"Really?" Now that she mentioned it, Shadepaw was right.
"I have been watching you both very closely and I believe it's time that you both warriors." He mewed to them after they were safely in his quiet den.

Blackbone walked into the clearing where the other cats were conversing. "What is the meaning of this I'm starving and none of you are out fetching food for the leader and I." He growled menacingly at the cats. "You had better go fetch food for the night or you wont be eating the rest of the week!" He yowled at the small cats. he was large and always had a lizard around his neck like a necklace.

This time, Shadepaw's laugh was cut off by a frightened gasp. She took one last small bite of Poppypaw's freshkill and then leaped up. "Come on. We better feed them. I can't go without eating for an entire week." Looking at her, any cat would know that she was right. She was thin and her ribs were beginning to poke out. She led them over to the freshkill pile and chose a good, plump rabbit for Bonestar. "You get Blackbone's." She told Poppypaw, though her voice was muffled by the rabbit's fur. Hurriedly, she bounded up the stairs, lingering nervously outside of their leader's den.
Skypaw shifted slightly. He was only eight moons....but he learned quickly and he never lost a battle. That's why Talonpaw was so weary about getting on his bad side. Talonpaw wasn't as skilled in battle as he or his Father. He wondered how Talonpaw would feel about him becoming a warrior so soon.
Talonpaw held his head high but then the thought crossed him. He was eleven moons. Skypaw was only eight. "Skypaw hasn't even finished his training yet!" He protested.
Skypaw looked at Talonpaw and hissed, teeth bared. "Are you going against what Bonestar says, Talonpaw?" He asked.
Talonpaw looked from Skypaw to his Father. "Yes, I am. You can't become a warrior so soon. I...." He trailed off. "I can prove it too. You can't beat me in battle!"
Skypaw stood. Talonpaw was bigger yes, but he was faster, smarter. "Really, Talonpaw?" He asked. He unsheathed his claws. He was tired of this vain apprentice. He would tear his fur off from nose to tail tip. He didn't care if the leader was watching. "I'm going to give you one chance and one chance only to take back what you just said." He stood, muscles tense.
Shadepaw swallowed as she listened to the entire thing. She couldn't say anything.

Blackbone was intriged by this. "Yes fight, fight this will be interesting a fight to the death." He laughed and walked away eating what the young cat gave him.
Snowkit ran inbetween them. "You two need to cool it." He growled at the two he was small, but he was a good fighter and he was fast yet clumsy he could still hold his own in a battle.

Bonestar flicked his tail in silence.
"Snowkit!" He growled, "What are you doing out of the nursery, let alone giving oreders to apprentices. Go back to the nursery before I have Blackbone personally escort you. And as for you two, if you wish to please me and become a warrior, there will be a test. If you want to become a warrior, you must find a she-cat willing to be your mate. I believe that is difficult enough. It must be their decision though, no fear or bribe tactics. We'll see how this goes. I can't afford to lose either of you in a battle of pride while the Clan is so small."
"Right." Poppypaw replied.
She grabbed a plump thrush and padded off towards Blackbone. She placed it at his paws before backing away, heade down, eyes on her paws.
