Well, the first thing you should note is that the Stat split hasn't occurred yet, so Skarm-Bliss is probably the most dominant thing you could pick up.
The second thing you should note is that, unless you're playing Emerald or have a friend that still has this game, you're playing it solely for YOUR entertainment; whether or not you want to share your experience with us or not is completely your call.
Now that that's out of the way, let's get cracken'!

So, I kinda found my old copy of ruby. SO I started to try beating it with a new team (My first team was pretty much blaziken, the regis and Kyogre). And I was Kinda looking for suggestions. I'm only at gym 5, so that why their kinda weak, but that also means I'll have plenty of time to make modifications. I've never raised anyything on this team besides Kadabra before. Let me know if you want their actual stats.
Grovyle Lvl 31
Overgrow
Item: Miricle Seed
Leaf Blade
Pursuit
Absorb
Quick Attack
Leaf Blade is the only important move for Grovyle; along with being a signature move, it's by far the best grass move of the 3rd generation. Teach it Dragon Claw if you happen across the TM.Lairon Lvl 32
Sturdy
Item: Soft Sand (needs to change)
Rock Smash (will change as soon as I can delete it)
Metal Claw
Iron Tail
Headbutt
You really don't have too many options; while its Special Attack pool is rather high, its special attack is lack-luster. Even so, the odd Thunder or Fire Blast will still catch someone off-guard. Strength is probably going to be your best move apart from Iron Tail.Trapinch Lvl 32
Arena Trap
Item: Soft Sand
Bite
Sand Attack
Faint Attack
Sand Tomb
Chain-chomp before Chain-chomp existed. Dragon/Ground is a dangerous type combo, and Flygon can take full advantage of it. It goes without saying that Earthquake should be given to this guy, and with all-around good stats any other move is completely your call and will probably work out great.Kadabra Lvl 32
Synchronize
Item: Black Glasses
Psybeam
Thief
Confusion
Future Sight
If you have a friend with FR/LG, get an Elemental punching Alakazam. Other than that, this looks okay; it can learn Shock Wave if I remember correctly.I would love to have surf and fly on one or two guys, mainly so I can use the team in the field as well as in battle.
It seems that you're adjusting to the previous generation just fine. Fly is probably not a realistic option; it's a bad move with low PP, power, and poor type coverage. Surf, on the other hand, is a great move that is incredibly overpowered and immediately available to many popular and strong pokemon: Tentacruel, Gyarados, Swampert, and several pokemon that you wouldn't expect to carry it make excellent candidates.
When filling out the rest of your team, look at your available options; Zangoose and Solrock were both feared and respected pokemon that rightfully held OU status.
