Prompted by Fire's advice, I wondered if it would be fun if we could all share the favorite characters we've made. Describe them and elaborate who they are.

The layout's up to you guys. Have fun ;3
PostPosted: Wed Apr 08, 2009 1:34 pm

I'd imagine the title is pretty self-explanatory in regards to what it's about. These questions are really entertaining and DO test the well-roundedness of your character. Obviously, this is my favorite character I've created (and also happens to be my muse). It doesn't give too much away about the story, but it lets you know who the character is. (Don't be bashful, either, you're welcome to take these questions and answer them yourself, they're quite entertaining)

1. What is your character's name? What does the name suggest about your character's personality? Does your character use his/her given name or a nickname? If so, why? Has your character ever had a nickname?

My character's name is Neo Mashari. In Latin, Neo means 'new', which definitely suits this character because he sets a new precedent for the people that work with him and the people that know him because of his rare and frightening talent in his craft. His name suggests that his personality, though may appear conventional (strong, silent type), contains several inexplicable traits that become clear as his dark history is revealed in the story. He never had a nickname and is never given one.

2. If you were going to buy a casual outfit for this character, what would you buy? What image does he/she cultivate? What does this image say about him/her?

For this day and age, Neo would definitely wear a pair of dark blue jeans (30/32 or 30/34 depending), a black T-shirt (I'm not entirely sure if the tee would be blank or not, but probably not) or plain wifebeater, a black leather belt and boots. He cultivates a dark image to accompany his dark personality. This all says that he has secrets and scars, which are all linked to a horrific childhood memory in which he watches his entire family slaughtered by the antagonist of my story.

3. If your character could have three wishes granted, what would they be?

This would depend on the points in the story. In the beginning, he is hellbent on taking his vengeance on the antagonist of the story for killing his family and wanting to die so he can rid himself of the guilt of being the only one to have survived. So initially, before he meets Rane, the woman he falls in love with, his wishes would be 1). Vengeance 2). To Die 3). To See His Family Again. After her falls in love with Rane, he wishes for all of the same things except death, and replaces it with Rane's protection.

4. Likewise what three things does your character most want NOT to happen to him/her?

This is simple enough to answer. Before Rane: 1). Not to die before killing the antagonist. After Rane: 1). Rane's death 2). His death 3). Rane not being safe. Obviously, the story is a romance, so this may sound cheesy to you, but it makes so much more sense in context.

5. If you were to enter this character's bedroom for the first time, what would you notice? Name four objects that immediately stand out. What are the dominant colors of the room? What sounds do you hear? If you were to spend an hour snooping in this room, would you find anything hidden? If so, what?

In my manuscript, Neo never has a bedroom, but goes from place to place and stays in guest rooms, so this is a pretty awesome question. In fact, I thought about skipping it because I thought it'd be too hard (but of course that only meant I had to answer it, right? xD). Walking into Neo's personal bed chamber for the first time, however, the first thing you'd notice was the comfortable simplicity of it, and its size, the lack of windows, and the bookshelves and desk. The bed would be king size, and low to the ground on a metal frame with black sheets. The carpet would be black and the walls wouldn't really have a distinctive color, something close to grey or blue. If you snooped, the most you'd find would be a knife or two and some erotica.

6. What obsessions does your character have?

Well, from the storyline, Neo becomes obsessed with keeping Rane safe. He has a constant desperation to attain revenge for the death of his family. Other than that, he is relatively reserved emotionally, he locks them away and keeps them hidden and always under control. I suppose, however, that this could be considered an obsession. He constantly works at his self control and locking his feelings away, finding that they were the reason behind his misery: he had something to love and thus something to lose, and didn't want to risk going through the agony of such a loss again.

7. Describe your character's belief system, or lack thereof, and sketch out how he/she came to believe things this way.

The world is a wicked place: dark and mundane. There is nothing worth living for in life and thus nothing worth loving or to fear losing. Fear itself is an illusion that individuals thrust themselves in to escape reality and come to deranged conclusions about their choices in life. Fate is a cruel mistress, leaving her victims with nothing in the end but death and decay. Destiny cannot be avoided, and everything must happen for a reason, even if the individual enduring the fate doesn't understand it. That's the basics of Neo's beliefs, and obviously the reasons go back to his family, and the profession he was trained to.

8. Late at night, you are talking to your character, perhaps after having a few drinks. There's a good honest mood moving between the two of you. Finish each of these sentences in the voice of your character.

A). "To understand me, first you must understand..." Neo's response: "My past and what I am."
B). "I don't usually tell anyone this, but when I was a kid..." Neo's response: "I loved my older sister and idolized my father."
C). "If I had a million dollars, I would..." Neo's response: "Invest it and save it"

9. Where does your character work? What specifically is his/her job? How does your character feel about this job? How long has he/she worked there?

Neo is what I call a Dragon Agent. He works for a secret organization specializing in the protection of Omni (The world Neo inhabits). Specifically, Neo protects people of high rank and standing and often must assassinate people. The agency is an elite group that specializes in killing and protecting, essentially. Neo sees this profession as a means to an end: he doesn't enjoy killing, but he is frighteningly talented at it and does not fear it. He has trained in this profession since he was five years old, and became an active member of the Dragon Agency at 16.

10. How much money does your character have in the bank or in investments? Where did this money come from?

Neo's profession pays very well, so he has a s**t-ton of money saved in his accounts. His family has a prestigious name, and so also inherited a great sum of money as well after their death.

11.What are your character's most substantial flaws or shortcomings? Does your character recognize these flaws?

Neo's flaws are his stubbornness, suspicion, and intoxicating emotions. He very much so acknowledges them in trying to contain his feelings. At the same time, however, when he gets and idea or ambition in his head, nothing can keep him from it. It gets him in trouble a lot of times.

12. What are your character's most significant character strengths?

Neo is amazingly resourceful. He can pull himself out of any scenario; he is very observant, and can read people like an open book. He also has an envisome intelligence, and is VERY talented in math and science. He has an innate understanding of the human condition and when and how to say things in delicate conversation, having the uncanny ability to say what must be said in a way that makes people listen. I'd have to paste a script with his dialogue in it to have this make full sense, but I won't, there's already plenty written here. xP

13. Does your character have any siblings? Which one is his/her favorite and why? If only one sibling, what does your character like most and least about him/her?

Neo has one older sister and idolized her. She was outspoken, bold, courageous, intelligent, and clever. What he never liked about her was her disdainful attitude toward their father. He was five when she was murdered, but she was 17 years old at the time.

14. How many close friends does your character have? Name them.

Neo rejected the idea of getting close to anyone, even the men he worked with, after the death of his family. His closest colleagues are Dmitri Yagami and Rehdao Wolf, whom sympathize with Neo's loss. The only person he is ever close with is Rane.

15. Who is your character's closest friend and why? Describe their history as friends.

As stated above, Neo didn't have a best friend. He and Rane become lovers due to a long history they share together when he has to protect her from the variety of things that happen in the story. After having her life saved so many times, I imagine it'd be hard not to fall in love with him. xD

16. What is the worst thing your character has ever done?

Neo's pretty much an assassin. Killing a limitless number of people is probably the worst thing he's ever done, regardless of the kind of people he killed were. He can also be quite heartless sometimes, and will do the things he sees fit regardless whom he hurts (this has even applied to Rane a few times for the sake of her protection in the story).

17. Describe your character's relationship with his/her parents.

Neo idolized his parents. He loved and respected his father, just as he did his mother. Which was why watching them die was as traumatizing as it was. He grew up with his father wanting to follow in his footsteps to a tee and make him proud.

18. If your character were to die today, what would he/she be remembered for? What would other people actually remember him/her for?

Neo would probably be remembered in the Dragon Agency for his talent and sinister creativity when it came to taking lives. Those who knew him better would find his death a tragedy for his family and would probably erect some kind of memorial in his family and his name. Rane would remember him for all of the things he was as the most normal man he could be, because she was who he confided in, trusted, protected, and loved more than anyone else alive.

19. List three things about your character that will most likely NOT be mentioned in your manuscript.

A). He has a good taste in dress.
B). He is an academic genius, excelling in mathematics and science.
C). In contemporary society, Neo would either be a Math professor at a university or a high-ranking member of the Foreign Embassy of whatever country he'd be living in.

Wah, that's really good, Maiden!! I'll steal yours for my favorite character sweatdrop I added a few to the mix, too.

1. What is your character's name? What does the name suggest about your character's personality? Does your character use his/her given name or a nickname? If so, why? Has your character ever had a nickname?

My character's name is Akira. I thought it had something to do with 'killer' in Japanese, but I was wrong. Nevertheless, it's a male name and I love naming my female characters with guy names ^^" It means 'bright,' 'clear,' or 'intelligent,' and is actually sometimes used on females in Japanese society, despite common assumptions. If you would look up the Latin word for 'clear,' which is clara (feminine form), you would see that clara also means 'famous.' In that sense, Akira is somewhat famous. She's bright and intelligent, but I would more likely call her resourceful and clever than the former two. Her nickname is Aki, which is used only by her best friend, soulmate, partner, and right hand Reese- Reese was the person to give her the name in the first place, being of Japanese origin. To the demon world, she is known as the Reaper, and her clan is called the Reapers.

2. If you were going to buy a casual outfit for this character, what would you buy? What image does he/she cultivate? What does this image say about him/her?

For Akira, all she would need is something striped and baggy. She finds large clothes cute and wiser, in case she might suddenly grow to fill their limits. She sets off a cool image, usually admired by those around her. Unfortunately, it'd be unwise to buy her clothes because Akira's negligence would not only ruin the clothes within days, but she would keep on wearing them until they fall off or Reese forces another set onto her.

3. If your character could have three wishes granted, what would they be?

1: Of all things, Akira would probably want to take back the curse she bestowed on Reese- turning Reese into an immortal demon hunted by peers.
2: Akira would love her body to return to it's normal state. Being that her eyes are multicolored and her voice includes the voices of everyone she has killed, she would prefer if she could hear her voice again and if she could unbind her eyes and eliminate the frightened stares at them.
3: She would love to reconcile with the boy she loves, Devair, and prove to him that she's something more than a job to him, even if she must kill herself in the process.

4. Likewise what three things does your character most want NOT to happen to him/her?

1: Akira would hate it if anything happened to Reese or Leo. If anything touched those two, she couldn't imagine living.
2: To be rejected by Devair....again. She'd born too much of his rejection to handle much more.
3: To become the insane monster her bloodline demands- Akira was the first of her kind to be sane and constantly fears falling into that insanity as well.

5. If you were to enter this character's bedroom for the first time, what would you notice? Name four objects that immediately stand out. What are the dominant colors of the room? What sounds do you hear? If you were to spend an hour snooping in this room, would you find anything hidden? If so, what?

Akira shares a bedroom with Reese, and being that their personalities are so subservient to the other, they would have a hard time decorating it- if Akira chose a poster to hang on the wall, she would feel guilty if Reese agreed and would immediately demand Reese to choose a poster, but Reese would choose Akira's choice, which would alarm her into further guilt (at this time, Reese is feeling guilty, too). In the end, Akira, who has too little attention to have any preferences in the first place, wouldn't decorate her and Reese's room at all besides a nice bed for them to sleep in.

6. What obsessions does your character have?

She is obsessed with several things:

1: Reese. At one point in time, when Akira discovered that Reese had a crush on Sinclair, Akira had the urge to kill him.
2: Devair. She loves him. What more is there to say?
3: Leo. Akira finds a kindred soul in her, considering how Leo is the second and last demon to be born sane.
4: Suicide. Being that Akira can't die, she constantly tempts death, accounting for her recklessness. At other times, she tries to force death, to no avail.

7. Describe your character's belief system, or lack thereof, and sketch out how he/she came to believe things this way.

Akira believes that all good people are good at heart. She isn't very good at perception and has landed herself in a lot of trouble due to her lack thereof, but she trusts easily, especially considering how she can read minds and detect evil intentions. She is a non-denominational Christian, firmly believing that God willed her to be sane, much to Devair's entertainment, Leo's confusion, and Sinclair's approval. Despite her religion, though, Akira;s scope is limited only to those she cares about or is interested in- those outside her interest and in her way are decimated quickly and painlessly. After her killings, Akira always repents and self-mutilates herself; she believes that her many voices and eye colors are a punishment for her deeds.

8. Late at night, you are talking to your character, perhaps after having a few drinks. There's a good honest mood moving between the two of you. Finish each of these sentences in the voice of your character.

A). "To understand me, first you must understand..." Akira's response: "Reese."
B). "I don't usually tell anyone this, but when I was a kid..." Akira's response: "I was on the verge on insanity."
C). "If I had a million dollars, I would..." Akira's response: "I don't need it."

9. Where does your character work? What specifically is his/her job? How does your character feel about this job? How long has he/she worked there?

Akira and her group are nomads, in a sense. They are always on the run, Akira as their leader and mother. She guards them and protects them from harmful demons and keeps them from becoming insane. That's probably her occupation, which she has owned for several decades.

10. How much money does your character have in the bank or in investments? Where did this money come from?

She has none.

11.What are your character's most substantial flaws or shortcomings? Does your character recognize these flaws?

Akira is emotionally masochistic, pessimistic, self-destructive, a glutton (power-wise; you'd have to read the story to understand), selfish (in her mind), and suicidal. She shoulders all the burdens herself until she can no longer move, something which she does often and deliberately.

12. What are your character's most significant character strengths?

Akira is sacrificial, for one; she's selfless and cares for others (especially Reese) more than herself. Also, her species as a demon enables her to collect multiple powers of other demons, including their hair color, their voices, their traits, and such. Having lived almost three centuries, she is an exceptional and crafty fighter; the only person who has ever defeated her, even with Reese's aid, was Devair.

13. Does your character have any siblings? Which one is his/her favorite and why? If only one sibling, what does your character like most and least about him/her?

No, but Akira considers Reese an extension of herself and Leo as a little sister. Sinclair is the annoying brother, Seth the playful uncle, Elise the sour and sweet aunt, Nat the obscure brother-in-law. Of them all, Reese ranks barely above Leo, who is significantly more-loved than the others.

14. How many close friends does your character have? Name them.

Reese: She named Akira, is Akira's soulmate, supports her through thick and thin, and protects and tolerates her.
Sinclair: Though he once tried to kill Akira, he adores her now, despite Reese's quite-obvious affection for him. Despite this all, Akira would have killed him long ago if Reese hadn't liked him (she had wanted to kill him because she was jealous of Reese's attention, in the first place).
Leo: Akira finds this girl a younger and more innocent version of herself and will do anything to preserve her.

15. Who is your character's closest friend and why? Describe their history as friends.

Reese: Reese's family bought Akira via the black market. At that time, Reese was only three and Akira in her late twenties, but when Akira changed Reese into a demon, Akira stole some of Reese's youth, turning seventeen while Reese became sixteen. Afterwards, Akira took Reese away with her and renamed her while Reese renamed Akira, as a sort of pact between them. Even if Akira had destroyed her future, Reese still loves Akira more than anything and doesn't hate her fate as an immortal. She is the only person who completely supports and understands Akira.

16. What is the worst thing your character has ever done?

Akira has killed a lot of people. Perhaps her greatest crime was stealing Reese's youth; in her fragile state of mind, Akira had practically tortured Reese into agreeing to become a demon (hard to explain; bear with me).

17. Describe your character's relationship with his/her parents.

Akira can't remember hers; she was too young to, but she had ended up in the black market because they were either greedy or irresponsible or weak. In the end, they are long since dead.

18. If your character were to die today, what would he/she be remembered for? What would other people actually remember him/her for?

Akira can't die, but if she could, she would be remembered in demon society as a notorious fugitive who had killed hundreds and transcended into immortality (normal demons simply had eternal youth). One of her greatest deeds would be the converting of Devair, who was the only demon to ever beat her but later left the demon world to join her side.

19. List three things about your character that will most likely NOT be mentioned in your manuscript.

1: Akira adores cute things. Rabbits, pandas, kittens- she loves them all.
2: Akira's demon parents were exiled shortly after conceiving her.
3: Akira loves stripes. Black and white are her favorite color scheme among them.

20. Are there any significant marks on your character? A scar? A tattoo? A beauty mark? Does it represent anything or have a history? If so, explain?

Akira's demon species suffers under the Limit, a curse where a toxin coats her vein walls with black. Everytime she drinks blood that does not belond to her soulmate or does not feed on her soulmate for an extended period of time, the toxin creeps farther. The toxin has high regenerative abilities and will infect even portion of the body without the toxin, but the residue will be left afterwards (a healed cut without the toxins will receive it after healing). The toxin is not dangerous in small amounts, but its progress is painful and if it encases her entire body, it will surely kill her immortal self. At the current moment, the curse covers at least a third of her body.

21. Does you character have a romantic relationship? If so, describe him/her and why your character is attracted to this person?

In Akira's heart, her love belongs to Devair, a demon assassin assigned to kill her. Cold, cruel, sadistic, and perverted, Devair was the only person to ever defeat Akira in battle. Several battles, in fact. He's wild, reckless, evil, and impossible, but Akira is drawn to his negative personality just as his curiosity is drawn to her. He was the first person besides Reese to find her eyes beautiful and often finds himself protective against his rival. She and he develop a Stockholm syndrome shortly after he attempts to kill her and Reese; he eventually grows to her warm but silent personality and comes to love his polar opposite.

Thanks for letting me steal your questions ^^'

It's fun talking about characters, true. I had a hard time choosing which character would be my favorite, though. Akira plays the cool and quiet mother hen; Reese is the emotionless yet overzealous bodyguard; Devair's the evil and sadistic on a good day, spoiled and clingy every time else; Leo's easily-confused but she's everyone's baby; Iris acts cold and detached when she's secretly shielding everyone; Alice can't feel physical pain but makes up with empathy; and Shun may be a sloth but he's sweet enough to go out of his way for Alice.

It was too hard to choose, but Akira was the only person I could successfully draw so far. *cry*

Thankies, but how about you, Maiden?? Don't you have more favorites to share? I find it almost impossible for a writer to simply have just one.

Hehe *cracks knuckles* But I can't imagine writing about all of them. It's too much for poor old me to handle, considering how I my favorite character list grew....I just tend to love all my characters, no matter how sinister or goodie-goodie they are.

In the meantime, I've provided another question for your survey, if you don't mind.

22. If your character is inhuman, what creature is he/she? Explain?
PostPosted: Mon Apr 13, 2009 11:06 pm

1. What is your character's name? What does the name suggest about your character's personality? Does your character use his/her given name or a nickname? If so, why? Has your character ever had a nickname?

Arborelle. To be honest, Arborelle came from the name of the apartments that my sister had looked at when she was starting to move out. I really liked the name, it suggests a level of intelligence coupled by age, since Arborelle is over many hundreds of years old. As his Diseased form, he is known as Gim, an eyeball with a single bat wing, is his symbol.

2. If you were going to buy a casual outfit for this character, what would you buy? What image does he/she cultivate? What does this image say about him/her?

Simple, a pair of loose fitting, bleached stained blue jeans, a white button up top and some all stars. Though he should dress like his half brother and sister, he still wants to feel different from them, because they are harbingers of nightmares, and enjoy it, it is just a job for him. His siblings consider him a slacker, when it comes to his appearence, but it does not entirely phase him.

3. If your character could have three wishes granted, what would they be?

To be able to save Gilead from her mindless slavery, bestowed upon her by his own hands, and kept that way by his half siblings, to marry her and break away from the council of dreams.

4. Likewise what three things does your character most want NOT to happen to him/her?

To be trapped within the council of dreams for all eternity much like that of his brother, Genesis, of whom had died to save him. Second of which, to have Gilead pass on in the manner of his brother, or for his half-siblings to pass on because it would then be his responsibility to carry on as the leader of the council of dreams. Which is not his idea of the best job in the world, nothing to brag home to mother about...

5. If you were to enter this character's bedroom for the first time, what would you notice? Name four objects that immediately stand out. What are the dominant colors of the room? What sounds do you hear? If you were to spend an hour snooping in this room, would you find anything hidden? If so, what?

Pretty much nothing. Blank walls. A desk with piles of journals with black writing and polaroids. A bed void of sheets or pillows, and a large window with a window-seat and flowing white drapes. Though Arborelle loves to be alone, he cannot stand reminders of his former humanity, since now he is nothing more than a harbinger of nightmares, a Diseased member, which are in charge of all nightmares on earth. They have been serving God since the dawn of their existence, and Arborelle cannot stand the thought that he had once been a happy person, and anything other than simple would bring about those unhappy memories. Usually the sound of whatever is outside will be playing through the window, but Arborelle does love to listen to old records with classical music like that of Bethoven and Back. As for hidden items, just the ribbon that Gilead gave him when she was merely a child.

6. What obsessions does your character have?

Other than Gilead, pretty much nothing. She is the bane of his existence, as well as his salvation. And though he protects her because he is secretly in love with her, the fact that she is also the balance between the dark and light plays a huge role in the story. The reason he erased all her memory and made her a maid in their house was so that those seeking to find her could not pick up her energy and use her power to obliterate all matter on earth. Keeping her safe with him ensures the safety of the earth and man kind. Since she was young, Arborelle has watched over Gilead, and though his love for her did not occur until after her teenage years (cause lets face it, that would be grose if he loved her like that as a child. XD) He knew that there were things destined for them. The only thing that keeps him from completly sharing his love is his siblings and what would kill her and harvest her powers.

7. Describe your character's belief system, or lack thereof, and sketch out how he/she came to believe things this way.

Though Arborelle sides with the alignments of darknes and chaos, he still follows the rules set out by their form of God, the Almighty, whom he respects and adores. Though those align themselves with darkness, that does not make them necessary chaotic evil, they are more along the lines of neutral evil. Having to create nightmares and darkness is their job, but does not define who they are. Because of his birthright, as with everyone, he was chosen by his brother, Genesis, who, at the end of the story we learn did not actually die, he is the Almighty himself. Very tragic story about that.... you can ask about it, if you desire.

9. Where does your character work? What specifically is his/her job? How does your character feel about this job? How long has he/she worked there?

He does not really have a job, he has a responsibility, in retrospect. His part in the Diseased council is pretty much basic, he is in charge of the nightmares of children. He ensures that they are working towards their purpose and they do not get out of hand. Arborelle actually does not like the job because it does not allow him to have friendships or a love life, and with loving someone entirely proves to be an issue that fights at the back of his mind all the day long.

10. How much money does your character have in the bank or in investments? Where did this money come from?

Money is no object, they make things happen for them because of their position in life, that is how it works. There is no use for money

11.What are your character's most substantial flaws or shortcomings? Does your character recognize these flaws?

His major flaw is his sense of need towards his place in life. He feels that his connection with the Diseased council and the Council of Dreams is the only thing that makes him who he is. Which is why he is constantly fighting with himself to stop loving Gilead. Some would consider this passible, but he disagrees, he cannot eat, think, or dream without Gilead being on his mind like a tumor. These thoughts make it hard for him to focus on his work, along with feeling guilty for taking all her memory way and turning her into a lifeless zombie.

..s.k.i.t.t.l.e.s..

Lol, oh I have a couple characters I absolutely adore, but Neo takes the cake, hands down. He's the most amazing individual, I'm astonished he came out of my creative genius. xP Well, he IS my creative genius, but all the better. xD

Lol, and to answer question 22: A Wolf. His human form is a ruse to disguise himself because his race has quite a history in my novel. My very first inspiration for him came first from the anime Wolf's Rain if anyone knows of it. I LOVED Kiba. xD

Kya, I cried at the end. And then I was confused...was the whole world this entire spiral-repetitive paradox or what??

And skitt, you didn't do all the questions. x3 rawr *bites* You're chara sounds fun, especially his casual-clothing style.

Wow, Maiden, I still gotta say, these are amazing questions you came up with. I would've just done a basic RP profile, but this rocks! *huggles Maiden and includes bitten skittles*

How about this:

23: Does your character have a secret skill unrelated to the story's plot? What would it be, if he/she did?

If I'd answer 22 for Akira, I'd say:

22: Akira is a Stealer, with the ability to steal powers from other Eternals (inhabitants of the demon world) simply by drinking their blood. Her body memorizes the properties of the blood and enables her to use the power at will and to the same extent of mastery as the previous owner; stealing a power leaves the Eternal without that power, too. But Stealers aren't specialized to stealing only demon powers, but things such as traits or personalities, as well; each Stealer has a preference of what to steal, actually. In fact, Akira's own preference is to steal youth, lifespan, eye color, and voice. With enough concentration, she can steal anything beyond her preferences and has evolved to the point where she no longer needs to drink blood to steal, but to simply touch her target.

23: Akira would probably be a video game otaku, because Devair's the kind of guy who likes games (both electronic and real), and she'd probably dedicate herself just to beat him in the game if she can't in a real fight.

Oh gosh, I'm not even going to attempt to convey how much I cried at the end of that series, it was amazing, even if I too was confused by the end. I think you have the right idea, though, Angel.

heart and I'm glad someone likes the questions, I stumbled upon them in one of the self-help writing books I have, and absolutely fell in love with them. xP (Yeah, I can't possibly take credit for creating those quesitons. xP, I didn't make them up)

To answer 23 though... Hmmm...

Neo's special skill... probably his driving ability. I had a dream a couple years ago that he and Rane were living in a present day big city and Rane introduced him to a car. He was fascinated by them and thus spent a lot of time around them. xP It as a cute dream. I'm not sure how satisfied I am with this answer, though, if something else comes to me I'll come back and edit. xP

Such a tragic tale. I can't remember their names anymore, but I loved the dark-haired guy and the girl- they were DESTINED to be together! Destined, I say!! It's no fair that they died!! gonk Ever read Chrono Crusade?? I cried so much in both the anime and the manga and still do, when I reread it! It's so touching but so sad!

Hmm, then:

24: Awkward situation- has your character ever had one? Ooh, please explain!

Akira was going along her innocent way, as usual, and being glomped by Reese, because apparently the sight of Akira chewing on a lollipop while half-awake endeared her. Devair, being as possessive as he is, knocks Reese off and glomps Akira instead. I've always imagined this as a sort of manga scene, with Devair hissing with cat ears and everything for Reese to back off. xD I wish I could find a way to write it and certainly hope to.

Hige and Blue!!! gonk I was so sad when they died! They should have at least kissed! I felt so dissatisfied with it. xP I've never read Chrono Crusade, though, I'm not a big fan of manga, but I hope to watch the anime sometime.

Hmm... and as an answer to 24: Neo's endured several awkward situations in his life. One in particular was when his commanders realized that he was falling in love with Rane and called him out on it. Neo has a very stoic disposition, and didn't expect that they would see anything of his feelings just by looking at him. After the agency had a meeting, the Master called him aside and said: "So you've finally found yourself a pair of pretty legs to get yourself wrapped up in,"

xD Lol... AWKWARD!!

Lol, didn't meant to freak you out, just answering the question. ^^ What about your character, do you have any awkward scenarios?
