The British are working on/making synthetic blood. As you might recall, synthetic blood was a focal point in the Sookie series, in which the JAPANESE invented synthetic blood, which ended up allowing vampire to "come out of the coffin" and reveal themselves.

Ooo, I wonder if it will come in different flavors. That would be yummy!
I know that, in order to promote True Blood, HBO auctioned off a few cases of True Blood. I have no idea if the glasses were full and if so, what they put in there.

I know that, in order to promote True Blood, HBO auctioned off a few cases of TruBlood. I have no idea if the glasses were full and if so, what they put in there. Fixed. That's the brand's title in the books. In the television series, it's spelled TRUBLOOD.

Speaking of cats, I think its pretty damn sick that Renee cut off Tina's head and tied her to fan and turned it on. I mean that is just messed up.

But I want to know what everyone thinks of the vampire that Amy and Jason kidnap? I really kind of like him. I hate that Amy staked him.

Here's a bit of Hollywood trivia for you. In Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho," all the blood in the famous shower scene was really chocolate syrup. Given the gray scale filmmakers worked with in those days, it looked fine. The trouble was, they had to use a total of 6 quarts of it, and then Janet Leigh kept licking her wounds to the point where she started to gain weight.
Me, I'd prefer chocolate syrup to some of the nasty recipes the SFX people use these days, which can include Karo syrup, red food coloring, peanut butter, and a host of other gross items which struggle to imitate the proper viscosity of the real thing.

I worked at a haunted house in October and trust me, when you're working from 5 to midnight and you're hungry and tired, the fake sugar FX blood tastes like the last drink of water in a desert.

OH MY GOSH I LOOOVED THE VAMP AMY AND JASON GOT.
He was adorable. I hate Amy. He was so cute and sad. I loved his thing with Lafayette. I 'specially loved him 'cause he likes Heroes on Mondays too. :C
I was so freaking sad when she staked him. cry
