The local bar within the Crystalized city stands in a rough area. The bar is usually packed with sailors and bandits from the docks. Sneaking about the day, they come into the bar and reside there at night. Many of the patrons find it weird that a girl would be owning the facility as well. They think that they can easily get away with things but the owner is able to take care of a majority of the things that go down within the bar. If things end up getting to rough, the owner usually just calls in the local patrol and they come in and clean up the area.

Al scribbled on a few pieces of paper, signing his name at the end of each piece. After finishing his scribbling, he handed off the papers. Shaking hands, the bar was now under construction. A few days later, the bar was complete.

Karen slowly descended to the ground, landing on the pathway with ease. She flicked her wings again, the white aura going around her again. Karen was now back to normal as soon as Minty landed behind her. Karen fumbled around in her original clothing, finding the keys within a large pocket on the right side of her dress. Karen then unlocked the bar, opening the two doors that led out onto the pathway.

Minty entered into the dark bar, all the lights being off. She didn't trod inside too far, because she was waiting for Karen to take the lead. Turning her head to the side, she looked at the wolf-man and fox on her back through the corner of her eye. Minty then looked over to Karen, awaiting the lights to be turned on.

Karen then came in behind Minty, the bar doors slowly closing shut. The clicking of the doors echoed through out the bar, as Karen fumbled her way to the lights. "Wow, it is awfully dark in here. Seems more dark than normal." Karen said quietly, flicking the switch to the lights. The lights didn't come on though. Karen flicked the switch a couple more times, "Hm, well that is weird." She said out loud. She then switched the lights off again, going behind the counter. Karen then tripped on a small object that was in her way, landing on the floor with a loud clapping sound. "Oof..." Karen said softly, "I'm fine, no worries!" Karen said enthusiastically, while picking herself up off the ground. Dusting herself, Karen grabbed the flashlight underneath the counter. Karen then clicked on the flashlight, illuminating some of the darkness. "There we go," She said happily while looking over to Minty and the other two.

Kit, still clinging to Wulf, had not seen anything during the short trip: the angel, the terrain below, or even the bar. His eyes were closed shut, as he held on to Wulf for dear life. Wulf, on the other hand, had fallen in and out of conciousness during the flight. He was awake now, although just barely. He got up off of the cat, patting it gently on its head. He grabbed the clinging Kit off of him and placed him on the ground. He then walked into the bar, into the darkness... and, of course, couldn't see a thing.

He saw the flashlight come on, and, silently, walked towards the counter and barstools. He stepped up and sat on one of the stools, set his head on the counter, and, very softly, said, "Sake... Please..."

Minty purred lowly when the wolf-character pet her. With a large gust of wind, the large feline was now again a small kitten. She meowed softly to the wolf and fox, and then pranced back behind the bar. She pawed playfully at one of Karen's boots, but then stretched her way slowly to her bed. Being a feline, she had an innate sense of sight, so she made her way to the bed easily. The kitten then hopped up into her bed and curled up into a ball.

Karen then smiled to the man who was now seated across from her. She turned slightly, flicking her ponytail across her shoulder in a flirtatious way. "Of course, sir. Sake it is." Karen reached underneath the counter and pulled out a small bowl shaped cup. Placing the cup in front of the wolf-like man, Karen then took the flashlight and flashed it across the counters. Karen moved past all the expensive wines, coming towards the rack that held all the sake. Pulling the sake bottle from the designated counter, Karen slowly made her way back towards the man. Taking the top off the container, Karen poured sake into the small cup. Returning the lid onto the bottle, Karen then looked up to the man. Then Karen placed the bottle on the empty counter behind her. Turning back to the man, Karen smiled again, "There's your sake, sir. But, I haven't even gotten your name yet." Karen placed an elbow on the counter, propping her head up on her hand. The flashlight Karen had in her hand was now placed standing up so light could illuminate into the room.

Wulf took the sake, still looking down. He sipped a little... a little more... before he put the cup down. He kept looking down for a few seconds... until he jerked his head up, a huge grin over his face, his eyes bright as ever. He gave Karen a thumbs up. "Just call me Wulf. That's how everyone knows me by!"
Kit had finally settled down at the sight of this scene, and looked up at the woman. "Good, he's better. Thank you for everything, now i think we'll be leaving... now..." he said tugging at Wulf's sleeve.
"And this here's Kitsune, or just Kit for short. He's a good little fox as long as your on his good side." Wulf made a face at Kit. "And an annoying little one when your on his bad side."

They continued to play around until Wulf had noticed the girl again. "You know, i never did get your name. And... uh... can you explain how we ended up here?"

Karen smiled at Wulf, "Pleasure to meet you Wulf, I'm glad to be attending to you today." She flashed a bright smile, taking a rag and wiping off the counter. "I just sorta wish I could get this power working, kinda strange it's happening now," the female said softly. Karen then looked over to Kit, "Also pleasure meeting you Kit! You and Wulf just got here, what's the rush?" She joked, giggling slightly. Continuing to clean the counter, she listened to the small mumbles inside the bar. Karen looked over to the two, smiling at them, then resuming her cleaning job of the bar. She made sure that she didn't disturb Minty while she slept, and pulled out a few candles. Lighting them, Karen went around and placed them on the tables away from the counter. Karen then returned behind the counter, hearing Wulf speak to her. "Oh, my name is Karen! Sorry I didn't tell you earlier, Wulf," Karen smiled to him, returning to where she was standing in front of him. Placing a hand on her hip, "Well, you got here by coincidence, I suppose. I was wandering the dusty trail right outside of the Crystallized city. I then decided to take a rest, and while resting I heard someone approaching. That someone was you, and then Kit starting freaking because you passed out. Well, I came over and then Minty helped me bring you here. That's how you got here and all!" Karen smiled again, leaning against the counter that was behind her.

Wulf listened to the tale, sort of amazed. He had never imagined anyone could be that nice! He leaned forward quickly and took Karen's hand.
"Thank you so much! I couldn't have made it much farther if Kit hadn't started freaking out!" Kit scratched Wulf's face at these words, but said nothing.

Wulf sat back down and thought for a moment. "Hey... a bar like this... Are we in some kind of city or town?" he said looking back up to Karen.

Karen blushed lightly from Wulf quickly taking up her hand and thanking her. "Aw, shucks Wulf, you are too kind," Karen flashed another smile to him. Karen traced a finger around on the bar, walking towards the selection of alcohol the bar had. She turned, looking at it for a moment, turning back. Tracing her finger still along the bar, she stopped again in front of Wulf. "Well, yes, this is the bar I own in Crystallized Bloody Impervious City. It's usually almost always busy, but today is a slow day, since our power is like out." Karen shrugged slightly, leaning up against the cabinet behind her again.

Wulf had totally ignored the fact that the power was out. Just now noticing it, he looked up and around. He liked the dark, especially in a wide open space. With the bar filled with a couple of tables and the bar itself, it was an okay feeling place to him.
"Do you have any idea what's the matter?" He asked for more sake, and looked around again. No one in the bar looked too threatening, or too scheming...

Across the room, Kit was sniffing and sneaking around.

"Hey, I need a place to stay, or to get some money. What if I helped out with the power? I could even look after the bar for you every now and then."

Kit bonked his head on the bottom of one the chairs as he ran back to, again, scratch Wulf's face.

"No, we HAVE to go NOW, Wulf! We need to to get out of this country as soon as possible!!"

Karen looked around with him, shaking her head, "I do not know what is going on. The power is just out, probably something wrong with the breaker. Just gotta go down there and check it." The female spoke lightly, looking around the bar again. She noticed some regulars had popped in, mingling with their friends around the tables. Karen took up a tray, quickly getting the drinks they usually ordered. Karen then returned back behind the counter, giggling at Kit who was inspecting her bar. Karen also quickly poured Wulf some more sake when she returned. "Well, the bar is always accepting help. I'd just need you to go through some papers, and then I'll do a background check and all. Shouldn't be awfully long, you'll be working here with me," Karen smiled to Wulf. She went into the back room with the flash light, searching for the papers that Wulf would need to fill out. Karen bent down, shuffling through a few papers on a lower level of the shelf. Finding the papers, Karen returned into the bar, placing them in front of Wulf. She pulled a pen out of one of the drawers, handing it over to Wulf. "Fill that information out, and then you should be all set. I'll just have to run it over to the mayor later on so he knows I have a new worker," Karen smiled again, looking over to Kit. She tilted her head to the side, "What's the matter, Kit? Why do you have to leave so soon?" Karen had a bit of confusion now on her face.

Kit looked up at Karen with a look of disgust. "Listen, lady, thanks for the drinks, but we need to go. And that's none of your business why." As Kit was about to tug on Wulf's sleeve again, but Wulf pushed him away and off the bar. "Oh, we don't need to be going anywhere. He's just a little... paranoid." Wulf smiled, then looked down at the papers. He flipped through, whistling as he went. "Wow, there's a lot here. And what kind of background check are we talking about?" he asked as he sipped up the sake.
Kit climbed back up to the bar, silent again. He looked at Wulf's cheerful face, and the leisure in the face of Karen. He sighed, and went near Minty to rest. He didn't get too close, just enough to let people leave him alone as they did her.

The bartender scowled a little, she was only trying to be friendly. She didn't quite understand why Kit was going off on her. The female then decided to just ignore it. Karen folded her arms, nodding, "Alrighty, if you say so." She then walked over to a counter containing the water. Karen grabbed a glass, filled it with ice, then filled her glass with water. Karen sipped the water, returning back to Wulf, placing her glass on the counter. Karen then nodded again, "Yeah, there is a lot of information for you to fill out. And, the background check isn't anything. The mayor just checks in on how you have worked with others and all. Not too extensive, ya see." Karen then watched as Kit wandered his way over to Minty, resting near her. She smiled slightly, looking back up to Wulf.

"Oh, if that's all, then we should be pretty good. If I can, I can get started on that paperwork right now." Wulf smiled as he looked back up to Karen. He then stood up a little and came close to her ear. He whispered, "Oh, and don't mind Kitsune. He's just worried about something that shouldn't be happening anytime soon." He sat back down, smiling again.

Karen grabbed the glass of water off of the counter, taking a sip out of her glass. Setting it down, Karen listened to what Wulf had to say, smiling to him. Karen nodded, pointing to the pen she had laid out for Wulf. "Yes, yes, the paper work shouldn't take any time at all. It's fairly simple, easily understood," the female smiled to Wulf. Karen's face flustered when Wulf was really close, whispering in her ear now. She tried to hide it, but she wasn't ever any good at hiding things like that. Karen then leaned in when Wulf seated himself again. She whispered as well, "And, will Wulf be telling me about this? Or, not?" Karen asked him very kindly. She leaned back, smiling towards Wulf, twirling a strand of her hair.
