i just always wanted to see what people think.
What do you think of Enter Sandman?
personally i think its overrated, and it sucks, but what about yall?

Enter Sandman wasn't horrible. Definately overrated, but not that bad. Of Wolf and Man, Sad but True, and Where Ever I May Roam were far better. So many people lable that album more towards Enter Sandman, which isn't the case at all. Enter Sandman was probably the most "out of place" song on the album.

Sandman, while it is overplayed, has everything that I look for in a good song.
Lyrics, that you will remember even if its the first time your hearing it.
A solid drum beat.
Catchy riffs/licks.
Power behind the lyrics.
Its not my favorite song by Metallica, but it sure isnt my most disliked.
Its the type of the song that I hear, and no matter where I am or what I'm doing, I'll sing.

Personally I love the song.. But I can't hear too much of it at once, you know? I used to use my CD player as my alarm clock until it started skipping CDs.. One morning, I couldn't get the intro of Enter Sandman out of my head because my CD player kept playing the first 5-10 seconds of it gonk

enter sand man is good but when i heard the tribute version by vice squad, i thought the metallica version was rather boring!! vice squad's is so much better, faster, and more evil sounding!! plus i liked it cause vice squad is led by a chick. Beat that guys!!! stressed

Its good. I think Master of Puppets or Orion are their best though.
