The office is a large room, with a large window at the back.
Sat in front of the window is a large oak desk, with paperwork, and various stationary sprawled about it.
The desk is rather un-organised, with exception of the assortment of alcohol bottles, lined up in order of strength.
Behind the desk is a large, black leather recliner chair, which is sat on a spinning base.
While in front of the desk are two normal chairs for those who are visiting, to sit on.
To the left of the room, is a long, green fabric sofa, with cushions so soft you sink so far it feels like it is eating you.
In the corner of the room is a large door with KEEP OUT painted on it.

Kanji was sat at his desk, lent back with his feet up on the desk.
His arms were crossed behind his head, as he dozed in the sunlight that came through the window behind him.
A half burnt cigarette was sat loosely between his lips, the smoke rising elegantly and slowly disappeared into the air.

A loud knock came from the door to the captains office. It was the spartan shinigami Helios. He had signed up for the squad 11 post because of what they were. Straight forward warriors no magic powers and no mystical bankais just straight brawlers. Perfect for a warrior like him.

Kanji's eye's shot open, as the loud knock echoed through his sleepy head.
He took his legs down from upon the desk, and sat up straight.
"Come in." He called out to the person on the other side of the door, while flicking his burnt out cigarette into an empty whiskey bottle that he used as an ashtray.

Helios walked in holding a bronzed helmet under his left arm and having a wide scabbard on his left hip. "Greeting Shinigami." said the Spartan considering himself that over all else, "I am Helios. I have heard I should report to you before I start my duties."

"Ah yes, The Spartan." He said looking Helios square in the eye.
He stood up and walked around the desk to half sit and half stand on the front of it, folding his arms.
"I am Kanji Hayabusa, captain of this squad." came his introduction, as he lent forward slightly to reach out his hand. "And you are Helios, if i am correct in saying so?" he said raising his right eyebrow slightly.

Helios did a little smirk, "That is who i am... If you loose track of me look for the man with One eye.... I think that would Idenify me pretty well."

Kanji chuckled,"Yes, i think it would"
'At least he has a sense of humour about his loss, that's good'He thought to himself as he smiled.
"Tell me Helios, Do you enjoy the thrills of battle? Do you crave the adrenaline you get when you have met a challenge?" He asked him.
He knew what his answer was going to be, or else, he probably wouldn't be here right now.
But he felt like asking anyway.

"Have you ever heard of the Spartans? We are BRED as warriors." said Helios, "So the answer is obviously yes." said the Spartan.

A slight grin apeared on Kanji's face when he heard Helios's reply.
"Good, very good. Then you are most defiantly in the right place." That was probably the closest to a 'Welcome to the squad' He was going to get.
"Do you mind showing me what you've got then?" He asked, yet again knowing what his answer will be, but Kanji can't just attack him here and now to see how well he fights. That would be wrong...But oh so fun.

Helios's hand twitched a bit, "Why not... It should be something to do until a real fight presents its self." said the spartan shifting his left arm and grabbing the helmet with his right and placing it upon his head.

Kanji smiled. 'It's been far too long since i've had a fight, hopefully this will be enough to satisfy me for now', He though to himself as he began to walk through the doorway. "To the sparring grounds then.", he said as he placed another cigarette in his mouth.
He paused halfway down the corridor, patted his pockets franticly, before finding his lighter.

Helios nodded and walked after Kanji passing him as he was looking for his lighter. He was a smoker it seemed that might be an advantage.
"I will see you at the grounds." said the Spartan.

Kurouto walked up to the door of the office, just joining the squad he went to see if he could get some training from the Captain. He knocked on the door and said," Captain? Are you in there? I'm a new member of the squad here to ask you for some training sir."

Kanji's heavy foot steps could be heard coming along the corridor to his office.
He walked up to Kurouto, and stopped just before walking into him.
He seemed to have been in a sort of daze, but he snapped out of it as he noticed the shinigami stood in front of the door.
"May I help you?", He asked raising an eyebrow.
Kanji couldn't remember seeing this guy before.
