Sookiestackhouse.com used to be about the books: They had character bios, even for minor and desceased characters, cool designs, and more information about the books.
Now the website mostly revolves around True Blood, now there's barely anything on the books.
Discuss.

True Blood is something new, more exciting, and is reaching more fans than the books are. So I can understand a little as to why they would want to add more things about the stars and more information about the series. That is what is new, what is relevant. After a while all the book readers know all of the information about the books.
But True Blood isn't the books (as we all know). Because of that even avid book fans need details about the series and probably want to know more about the stars and who is destined to play who and how their favorite scenes are going to play out.
I used to be a moderator for a rather popular Twilight website (when I was into it) so I know how hard it is to keep up with some information while keeping members of the site interested.

Not necessarily. More like replacing it with a new museum with new renditions of classical pieces of art.
Besides, there are still more books coming out. As soon as Dead and Gone comes out everyone is going to be talking about that.

Besides, there are still more books coming out. As soon as Dead and Gone comes out everyone is going to be talking about that. Actually, I see it as putting in disco balls and filling it with DJs? Yes, #9 is mired with a mysteries of backgrounds and the dead shifter. But then TB releases some spoiler pictures and everyone gushes over Jason doing something unimportant. At any rate, they could have at LEAST kept the character biographies. D:

I agree. I can see adding a section or two for the show, but I'm having trouble finding any sites that really focus on the books instead of the show. I know all of the characters and storyline and all, but it's nice to have it for reference or for new fans.

One time I got really bored and made Eric, Sookie, added a Dean since I've got pets, gave Sookie a Tina and then had a Bill burn his own house down.
