Oh yes fear the power! I now believe fully in VIZ when they said they would keep as much of the story as they could. Besides a few bloodly moments taken out thats fine. But I was watching todays episode and Haku appeared for the first time and sounds so much like a girl.(but more of a tom girl sounding way) But Kakashi said this. "HE's about the same age as Naruto, but why is HE such a high level of ninja?" YES!!! KAKASHI SAID HE!! Oh yeah!! Believe it! (sorry I needed a corny line from the show) But yes I am happy they kept it so I didn't want to go to school hearing "Oh yeah that Haku chick is hot" Because than I would have to do something very violent.

Who is this Naru?... the only man woman in that show I know of at that point is Haku...

I bet Haku wouldn't of even minded if they made him a girl. I did really want to shock my friends though... Ah well.

Hee, I know what you mean when your brain leaves when your tired. I usually get on gaia when I'm tired, and wow, I make mistakes often. XD I called Jack (pumpkin guy) Gino in the towns and everyone was weirded out.
BUT BACK ON TOPIC! xp
I am glad he's a guy... for no real reason. I feel he's kinda overrated, but he's still a fun character. In his sensitive, murdering yet not way.

America doesn't like gender confused characters. Thats why that one dude from Salior Moon was a girl in the US verison(not to mention he was gay which during the early 90's when it aired in America they wouldn't allow it). So now I can breath easy knowing that he hasn't changed.

Man, characters like that, I just call them 'it' not 'he', or 'she'. Mitsune and I are always fighting about gender, so that's my solution. 3nodding

A class of it's own. There are many anime characters that fall into that class then. Gren from cowboy bebop, Ed even for a lil' while... Ayame, Ritsu, etc from fruits basket... Lots. o.o Haku is NOT alone!

It always cracks me up in dubs when they give the is-it-a-guy characters really manly voices. These people with such small female frames start talking in deep voices xd

I was greatly surprised that Haku was portrayed as a guy in the dub. It was the good kind of surprised.
