 Hiwa strutted down the sidewalk, looking around for amusement. She'd long left the street life behind, but she still liked to come back and visit every so often. Her bright red coat got strange looks from the other dogs, but Hiwa just smiled at them and passed on by. She continued on, wandering around for quite a while. When she looked up, she saw that the light was quickly fading from the sky. She had to get home soon, or her owner would begin to worry. She tried to walk faster, but the sun was receding too rapidly.
Panicking, Hiwa rushed through the alleys, trying to take a shortcut back home. She lost her way and became disoriented, seeking the right path but not finding it. Finally, she gave up. She was lost.

 Sven walked along the a side walk. His owner let him wander where and wen he wanted to, though it helped that there was a doggy door that he could go out of then ever he wanted to. He knew the streets well. All the back allies and side roads behind the buildings here. He walked around the corner and saw a pretty red female who looked to be lost. He smiled big and walked over to the pretty female. "Hello miss. You look to be in some trouble. Can i help you some how?" he asked wondering what trouble she might be in.

Hiwa heard Sven's voice in the alley and turned to look at him. She smiled her most charming smile at the handsome male. "Howdy, stranger. I seem to have lost my way a while back. Could you help me find my way?" She began to strut and bat her eyes at him. She rarely asked for assistance, but she would make an exception for this kind red charmer. It had been too long since she had last met such a lovely stranger.

Sven smiled at the pretty female as she batted her eyes at him. "Why sure little miss i can help you find your way." he said as he walked towards her and sniffed at her, getting her scent in his nose and remembering it. "Would you like me to help you find your way by following your scent or do you want to name some familiar places near your house and i can try to find it. I'm familiar with alot of the area cause i'm out here on the streets alot when i'm not sleeping at home." he said with a smile as he stood next to her, smiling at her happily.

Hiwa inhaled deeply, fixing Sven's smell in her memory as he did hers. She closed her eyes briefly, picturing home. "My house has a big yard with lots of trees, and pretty, bright flowers that smell very sweet." She tried to think of the way she'd come. "A little further down the street is a park for the human children. And around the corner from there is a big brick building." She gave Sven a hopeful glance. "Do you know where that is?"

Sven thought about what she said and smiled, turning towards where she knew the park was. "Oh yes i know where that is. I go there some times to play with the children. Follow me." He said as he lead the way down the ally and headed towards the park. "You don't live too far from me either. I think it will be easy to find your place." He said happily as he walked. "And my name is Sven, what is yours beautiful?" he asked with a smile as looked over at her happily.

Hiwa sighed with relief as Sven led her to the park. She gave him a flirty look. "Well, hello there, Sven. My name's Hiwahiwa. But you can call me Hiwa. I'd love for you to visit me sometime once I get home." As they continued through the darkening streets, Hiwa began to see more clearly the way she had come. "Maybe I'll even be able to find you."

Sven smiled as he lead her back towards the park. She could smell Hiwa in the area now and followed her smell happily, though he hoped that she would be ok with spending time with him for a while, he hadn't been able to find anyone to spend time with who could hold his attention for very long. "So what was a pretty thing like you doing wandering the streets by her self?"
he asked as he trotted along with her happily. She was very cute and he wouldn't want anything to happen to this sweet thing.

Hiwa laughed a little at his question. "I used to live on the street, until my owner took me in. Sometimes I miss that life, and like to go back. But this is a long way from where I used to live." She began to reminisce for a moment, thinking of a past that seemed so far away. "And what was a handsome fellow like you doing out on the streets all alone? I would think you'd have to fight the ladies off all day." Inside, Hiwa felt a bit of resentment towards any female that caught Sven's attention, but she said nothing.

He smiled, glad to know that she did know the streets. "Oh well i have free range when ever i want to leave my house and i find the streets to be more entertaining then the crowded house that i live in, theres alot of dogs there that annoy me. So i come out here to get away." he said. Her last statement about the lady's made him laugh loudly. "Oh no, well i mean one of the females i live with is always flirting with me but she never means it and shes too much like a sister for me to like her." He said as he smiled, wondering if this pretty female might like him.

She giggled a bit. "It is kind of hard to live with a bunch of other dogs. But I love my family." Hiwa looked at Sven for a while, feeling relieved that there was no female in his life. She stopped watching where she was going, her gaze trained on the dashing red male. "Would you think less of me if I said I was glad? I mean-- whoa!" Her footing was awkward as she stepped over a bit of mud in the street, and she slipped, tumbling onto the ground.

Sven gasped and walked over to her and tried to help nose her up out of the mud. "Oh sweet thing your all dirty now! I have some towels i sleep on in my room that i can pull out and let you clean off in, inless you would just rather go home to your place?" he asked softly wondering how she would want to get clean again. He licked a spot off her muzzle cause it was marring her beautiful face. "And it doesn't make me think of you any less, i couldn't ever think of you less i think, your too pretty." he said with a smile, his little tail wagging happily.

Hiwa grinned mischievously at Sven, though she was rejoicing with all her heart inside. "I'd love to get clean at your place. My owner would have a heart attack if I came home all dirty." She paused for a moment, thinking of all the other males she had met. "No one has ever been this kind to me. I'm a lucky girl, to have found you."

Sven smiled at her as she said she was lucky, no one had ever thought that before, even though Sven was nice to everyone. "Really? No one has been this nice to you?" He said as he lead her towards his place. "I'll have to show them what their missing if you tell me who they are. Cause your way too cute and pretty to not be this nice or nicer too!" He said as he looked at her and smiled happily. "Its not too much further to my place." He said as they walked down a side street.

Hiwa snorted. "Of course no one's been so nice! I'm just another female, there are plenty of prettier ones for the males to be nice to. Except you. You're different." She playfully nudged him. "Do you really think I'm that great? Or are you just saying that?"
