I'm currently making a Claymore for my Clare cosplay. I've made the blade out of Cardboard and paper mache but my problem is the hilt. I have a dol as the handle but the guard is my problem. I don't have enough experiance with wood to carve it so I need a different material to make this out of. I also tried foam but it wasn't duriable and broke easily. Any help is apreciated.
