Bob Jessup, the witch Amelia has a fling with, got turned into a cat and ended up getting another cat pregnant.

All the kittens are black-and-white, just like Jessup.

So, whatever did happen to those kittens? Outside the paragraph they're mentioned in, we never hear from them again?

Does Bob know? Can/Will they be able to turn into humans? Do they die? Do Sookie or the witches keep them? Do they hand them out through the town? Call animal control?

Discuss.

That's an interesting observation. One that I really didn't give a lot of thought to myself because they never actually said they were his. Although I'm sure they were.

As far as what happened to them, they probably became wild, like their mother. Its not uncommon to have wild cats running around the place. Hell, I've got three cats that were wild that I tamed over the years. So that is probably what happened to them.

But about their abilities is something I'm really thinking about. I highly doubt they'd have the gift to change into humans because Amelia's spell didn't allow him to change back and forth. And I don't think the spell would have translated to his off spring. He wasn't changed into a were or shifter, he was changed into a cat. A cat who maintained his human personality and mind.

At most, I'm sure the kittens would be more attached to a human companion than other cats would, and would probably seek one out. Its possible that they would be able to read human emotions better too. But anything beyond that I think is a real stretch.

I do think it would be neat if they were brought up later in the story though. Maybe if one or two were to wander up to Sookie's house and give her a new animal companion. After Tina and Bob I think its time she has another cat.

Although I think she'd do better with a guard dog myself.

I think Eric and Pam need one of those kittens. Maybe emo Bill. Though the idea of Eric with a tiny kitten is too funny to probably happen. Oh well, one can hope.

I know a way they could bring Bubba back AND solve the kitten problem about the kittens.

Maybe Bob took them with him? Or he came back?

We took a bus or something to get home, right? If he did, he could've snuck them. But then the bus driver caught hima dn they weren't in cages, so he was kicked out, and he had to wander home, having many exciting misadventures along the way.

Maybe you should write a story about the adventures of Bob's kittens. Lol.

Speaking of Bob, my own Bob is trying desperately to get my attention right now and its getting in the way of my guild work.

Just imagine if the Tribe of Bob matured into some kind of feline-based 'shifter that might give Calvin and his werepanthers a run for their catnip!

If, as cats, they're black and white, would they as humans appear to be biracial? That has some serious implications south of the Smith and Wesson Line.

Don't you just know that Crystal would find some way to get herself tangled up with one of the Bob-Cats?

Oh, this is too good. It's almost enough to propel me toward that terrible temptation known as fanfic....

Hmmmm.....

Must give this further thought. If the werewolves start showing when puberty hits, and the werepanthers have more or less the same kind of timetable allowing for all that inbreeding, then once Bob's litter is into what amounts to teenage years, they might be able to 'shift....

Question would Bob be arrested if the authorities found out he had "improper relations" with a cat?

The most likely wouldn't know, as his excuse for his dissappearance was that he went to Las Vegas.

Besides, he was a cat at the time, and it is shown that shifters don't often have that much control when shifted.
