How did everyone celibrate?
I hope you enjoyed this most beginings of Holidays.
Did everyone start a new begining?
For that matter did everyone end something for winter? Happy Ostara everyone. And a Happy Easter as well. I'm looking forward to Beltane. ^^ It's my favorite.

Happy (belated) Ostara to you, too!
I didn't get to celebrate. I had school in the morning, work in the evening, and by the time I actually remembered that I had wanted to do something to celebrate, it was three days after the fact!

We did do a kind of spring cleaning around the apartment, though. We took all of the things we no longer wanted or needed and donated all of it to goodwill. I feel good doing that kind of stuff. Especially now when money's tight, I know that someone will be able to use my old clothes, some little kid will enjoy the stuffed animals and other neat toys I donated, etc.
Our new beginning started last week, when my fiance got a new job that pays twice what his old one does, and when we made the decision to buy a new (to us) vehicle. Those two things were steps toward a career and a life together, not as two separate people who just happen to enjoy each other's company.
So that ended our previous way of life, which was basically living from paycheck to paycheck. Now we're actively planning for a future. It feels good!

I worked.
Moving to california was the end of something for me, and starting a new job was a good new beginning.

I helped out in a local soup kitchen and volunteered all day. i used to do the same thing in cali when I lived there too. Got my school and the military base to help out as well!

I've always wanted to volunteer at the ASPCA over here. It's quite a drive, though, which makes it a little silly 'cause of the dumb gas prices.

It's autumn here, so I celebrated the Equinox and then Winterfinding about a week ago.

I always forget that the seasons are not uniform around the planet. It's so strange for me to stop and consider the fact that it's sunny and warm here, but it's beginning to get cold and snowy somewhere else! Haha. What country are you in?

Now I have to remember when I make the Happy (insert holiday here) post, to remember the oposite holiday. At least they are all even.
