Background: When Asher was 11, his older brother died in a car accident. He was upset when that happened and later he discovered his 'ability'. First when he was 12 he had disturbing dreams about ghosts. Later he saw his brother and found out he could communicate with the dead. Neither of his parents knew that he could do this. Asher was a quiet kid and didn't talk to his parents much. Sometimes they could hear Asher talking to 'himself' even though he was really talking to his brother. His parents, worried, put him in therapy at the age of 13. Soon after Asher couldn't take it anymore and ran away. He doesn't really like his power but learned to deal with it.
