Just your thoughts on band camp...
Mine: AWESOME! This will be my first year as an OFFICAL vertan marcher. JUNIOR YEARR!! biggrin D
And since I did Winterguard this year I wouldn't have to go threw the pain of 'breaking in' my muscles.

Not sure. We just started our practices for try-outs yesterday.
I'm just excited cause we get a whole new football field! I'm not excited about the astro turf though. We experienced that at UT band day this year... bleh. xp

Im excited. even though i have to wait till July to start... sad our fall team isnt that competitive... But on the brightside my school is having a spin-a-thon next week smile

We start this early because we praticipate in a parade the second week of June. And we like to get them ready early. Especially since we got bumped to SA for next season.

my guard practices for the parade the week before... That might be why we didnt do good in SA and got moved to AA...

Our practices for try outs were this week. Tomorrow are tryouts.

We have 20 girls this year. We'll probably start practice the week after next. We have some meeting Wednesday.
I just hope they all stay. I think we had 21 last year and it dropped to 17.
I can't believe you wait until the last week before a parade. Then again we only practice once a week until band camp so retaining that routine may be easier. Of course, the week before our parade is when all our new soon-to-be-freshmen go on their 8th grade trip.

My team beat our record. Instead of waiting till the week before th parade, our practice is going to be the day of the parade....

eek I love my director. That's about all I have to say. We'd be screwed the day before the parade.
