Keshi_Emeraldeye Alec grinned, a somewhat embaressed flush on his face. "Well... I would like that," he said, not entirely sure what to say. He definately would like that but he didn't want to go into detail, not when there were too many people around to hear. He didn't mind public displays of affection, but nothing more than cuddly stuff, maybe a soft quick kiss. All other stuff he prefered to do in private. * Raven was aware that Roy was in the tent with them but he didn't mind. Although he hadn't want the soldiers to know what he said, he didn't mind Roy knowing. Afterall he was there. He scowled at Grendal's words though. "An army that is unable and unwilling to make any move forward without their leader. I've spent the last few days amongst that army, learning what I can, and they were demorolized before they got here. They are not a threat. Deserters or not if you harm them needlessly you could ruin any chance Remnar and Kierenar have of reconciling," Raven snapped, getting angry. "Stand your ground, defend your position if they attack, which they won't, and wait for Remnar to get here. And I can guarentee he will agree with me." * Sneyes scowled at Nayban's jibe but it was all in good fun. But his face turned more neutral when Nayban asked how far away his host's brother was. His eyes became slightly unfocused as he turned his attention inside. 'You think I'm just going to tell you?' the voice of Kierenar said inside his head. Sneyes sighed. 'Must you be so difficult,' he thought as he began ransacking the man's mind. He couldn't do this too often, it would leave him a drooling idiot, which wasn't very useful when he needed him to have some element of control. Kierenar moaned softly within his mind as Sneyes mental claws raked through his mind and memories. Finally Sneyes's eyes seemed to focus once more and he replied, "Ev drao mavd aynmo drec sunhehk yc ed ybbaync Nashyn bnavanc du tu, drao cruimt pa rana po ajahehk."

~Wind_Oni~ "So your suggesting we just sit on our hands and wait for them to come to us? For further uncontrolled chaos to ensue? Let's get something striaght right now Raven. You are not my superior in any sense of the word, and have no authority here at all." He glared over the desk at Raven his eyes narrowing as could feel his hackles risings at the arrogance of this a*****e. "I find it hard to believe that a spy and assassin who work alone can't understand the harm that an un-lead mindless mob can do when it's leader is out of commision?! My duty is to my King, and more so to the people of this country. I will not leave enemy combantants left to terrorize innocent people! Now get you a** into the medical tent and out of my sight before I have you thrown out." He growled. The assassian was now the diplomat? WTF. He was a find one for talking about reconciliation. Now he was two steps away for treason; he was lucky he didn't have him clapped in irons. ---
Jack blushed furiously, "Not now... not here." He replied reading the expression on Alec's face before flutter off of his horse and on to his own. He pushed his horse forward moving to retake his place in the ranks and catch up.

Tegian Nayban stood, amused by the look that had overcome Sneyes' face while the demon retreated slightly to grapple for the information. He looked like he had been born retarded, standing there staring at nothing while a small dribble of drool slowly slipped its way from his mouth. He was just about to start laughing lightly at the sight when Sneyes finally returned. He forced the smirk that played on his face away. "Yna oui ypma du lryhka ouin puto?" He asked. He wanted to go meet them, though he did figure Sneyes would still want to keep the fact that his host was possessed a secret from the other king untill they were up close enough to possess the man with their trapped spirit. {I seriuosly cant remember if Sneyes could change the form of Keirenars body xD lulz. So if he asked before, just pretend he didnt! o:} ~ "I will not allow you to kill these people." Roy said as he turned from his misty form to his solid one. "They will not harm anyone. And, if you try to attack them, I will stop any attempts you make." He wore no expression on his face and had no expression in his voice. He was serious about stopping Grendal though. Roy did not condone killing even the slightest bit, and he would deffinately not allow Grendal to kill these demoralized, confused humans just because he could. Though, if the men did try to attack Grendal or his group of soldier, Roy would stop that as well. Though, by how the others were acting, lost and confused, he doubted they could do anything anyways unless ordered so by their king.

~Wind_Oni~ "Oh fun your here too. What do you two fail to understand that this is still a war. Now I am going to break this down in simple terms. They are the enemy and have come to kill us all. My job is to stop them from doing so by confusing, demoralizing, wounding, and yes killing them so that they do not come and kill us all. And if you," He pointed at the water spirit, " Would let me explain what my plan is then you might not get your liquid panties is such a knot." He grumbled before sitting back down.
"Again putting this is the simplest terms possible." He looked over at the water sprite and rolled his eyes, "I am just a general. I can neither began or end a war... Now if somebody with ... gee I don't know.. the ablitiy to fly or move over great distance very quickly could get me order from the King, I might be able to do something about that." He cocked his eyebrows suggestively at Roy in a geusture to bugger off and make himself useful rather than bluster about in his office. "Other than that the best I can do with this new information is it extend the defensively line of scout and archers I have at my disposal. Those soldiers who insist on trying to cross the border I still have to interpret as hostile and will be dealt with. Most should be turning around and going back home to their families. They are already aware of their position and that crossing the border at this time is a hostile act." He glanced over at the spirit again, "Until I recieve orders stating otherwise that is the best I can do. So I reiterate. Get the hell out of my tent till your useful to me."

Tegian Roy glared, something that was comletely foreign and strange to him. This was the first time he had ever, felt any sort of real anger towards anything. Ever. "I have no care about your pitiful pathetic wars. You humans have no care for anything but killing and destroying everything around you so you can gain more of nothing." His voice didn't show any anger in it, though it would still cause a deep chill down ones spine. "I will not allow you to kill anyone else." He said as he turned and left the tent, taking Raven with him as he did so. As soon as the two were out, large, very thick walls of ice surrounded the tent on all sides and over head. He would be giving no orders for killing. "Raven. I will go to Remnar. You go get yourself fixed up." His anger was all but gone, though he was not going to free Grendal from the small ice box. With that, Roy left. To once again head to Remnar. This time, he would truely stop the man from advancing with his army any further.

~Wind_Oni~ Grendal walked out to find his tent in case in ice he stucked on his tooth. His men stood and marveled at the ice block, but the spirit was gone befoe they could mount any kind of counteract. Grendal spent a few moment digging as his men figured out that they should begin digging from the other side before passing them a note.
"Tip it over."
A few grappling hooks later and with a lot horse power the icecube was tipped over and the General was free once more. Several of the men were marveling and enjoying the ice box in the summer heat as it melted while Grendal walked away from it. "Stupid magick." He grumbled as he lit his cigerette once he was out in the open air. He'd already passed the plans to his men threw the hole they had dug and were well under way, not that there was much to do other strength their defenses incase the demons came this way and protect the border.
In the mean time he smoked, pondering whether or not to share the information with his own men and even the enemy that his once friend was possessed. On the one hand as his childhood friend who still wished for reconcilation he didn't want to sully his good name, as bad as it was on their side. When people referred to his as a demon it wasn't literal. But he wasn't suppose to let his feelings, especially such hope cloud his professional judgement. On the other hand he had information which could help prepare his men, his comrades, and help prepare them if Keirenr or his friend paid them a visit. Hesitating like this wasn't like him. He didn't care if he was labeled a butcher if it meant fewer people had to get their hands dirty on his side. He didn't kill women and children, didn't rape or pillage. When men joined the army they prepared themselves for the possiblity of their demise. It was part of the life. Hell, by military standards he had more honor than most. True slaugthering enemy combantants in something other than an honest straight fight was distasteful to him, but these weren't one on one fights. It was also true that those hungry soldiers who came over the border would not hesitate to rob and kill the first farmer they saw for nothing more than a loaf of bread.

Tegian "You must have Grendal stop what he is doing." Roy said as he suddenly appeared straight infront of Remnar's horse. He frightened the poor thing into rearing up and forcing remnar to the hard ground. Roy, seemingly uncaring of causing Remnar to fall to the ground, went to the horse and gently patted it into calming down. That only took a few moments, than with a few appologies to the horse, Roy went to Remnar. "I do not have time to explain. But please, you must get a message to him, telling him to not kill the men of the other army." {{Its a lame post :'D But perhaps it'll let you post o 3o And I do hope you don't mind that I forced Remnar from his horse xD haha}}

Raven sat with his eyes downcast as Roy spoke. Grendal really pissed him off. He seemed to think that just because he was an assassin that he felt nothing for human life. That was never the case. He always felt horrible after having to kill someone. He just never let it show, hid it away until he could deal with it in private. It hurt a little when Roy said that all humans only cared about killing. He did this because the only way, because of his birth, for him to be kept alive was as a tool. Never had he more wished that he was not here, not a human, and belonged to some other race who wasn't so violent.
He followed Roy out of the tent when he left and smirked when the tent was incased with ice. He nodded to Roy, agreeing that that was the best course of action. He was about to add that it should be written as well but Roy was already gone. Surely Remnar would know that though.
He ignored the efforts of the men to tip over the ice that trapped Grendal and made his way to the medic tent. The medic there saw him, blinked a few times, before her professional face came back and she directed him to a seat, cut away what was left of his shirt before instructing him to lay down. She coated his chest in some kind of cream, he couldn't be bothered to watch and see what though if he tried and thought about it he could probably work it out - his profession required him to know the qualities of all kinds of herbs and plants. His chest was bandaged to protect the burns and avoid infection before he was instructed to drink a concoction and sleep. Again, he couldn't be bothered working out what was in the drink but it was something that made him relax, he felt his muscles loosening and it wasn't long until he was asleep, probably the best thing for healing.

Grendal smoked heavily, more so than usual. Just waiting for the enemy to stumble forward and either surrender or commit an act of hostility. Granted, simply walking this directing was an act of hostility, but there wasn't a lot he could do about that. That was what this war had been all about. They wanted this land so they intended to walk in and take it. That was unless he and his men were there to stop them, which is when the line and the weapons were drawn.
True, he preferred not to have a job. War sucked. He'd lost countless friends and comrades to these constant fights. But creatures like Roy just couldn't understand. They live in a completely self sustained world. They didn't need to work to eat. They didn't need shelter. Hell, it probably didn't even need a mate to procreate. If you need nothing from others and don't live in a group that has to depend on one another, then there is no way you can understand interactions. Period. Whether it was fighting, arguing, loving, or just plain ******** there was no way to understand it if you had no experience with it. You demoralize and confuse the enemy so that they no longer have the will to fight. Then you don't have to kill them Those soldiers knew exactly what direction they came from and which way to go when they gave up.
He rested his head against the tree he was leaning on. Responsibility had a price and it sucked. He wanted to go see Remnar, talk to him about his brother and the fact that they might be able to save him. He wanted to go to Kierenar, his friend and mortal enemy, and see for himself if he might be saved or if the next time they fought he would have to put him out of his misery. He already knew he wasn't the good man and worthy adversary he had always been. If he had this would have never happened to his men. Either way, it was difficult to just sit on his a** and wait.
"Notify the moment that either the water sprite or King Remnar show up." He said to a soldier who had come up to give his status report.
"Sir, considering the sprite's hostile actions. Shouldn't it be considered a hostile presence and be dealt with as such?" The soldier asked puzzled why the General was tolerating such descent.
"No. It's a civilian. If it continues to interfere. Deal with it. Don't bother with swords, and do not waste arrows. Don't bother arguing with it even though it speaks. Worst comes to worst. Point at whatever enemy combatant your dealing with and tell it to go stop it's approach and turn it around if it's going to preach. If it attacks anyone then it's broken it's own rules of protocol. In which case get me. I don't doubt any of your fighting skills, but this is a supernatural creature, and those are my specialty. That goes for any other magick users."

When Remnar's horse suddenly reared, Remnar was thrown from the saddle, landing heavily on his back. Instantly Alec was out of the saddle and knelt by Remnar's side to make sure he was alright; one could die falling from the saddle but he could possibly prevent that if he got there quick enough to heal any damage. Remnar waved him away now, only bruised and embaressed, swearing under his breath.
He glanced to Alec from where he was sitting, his eyes asking Alec if he should trust the water sprite. Alec himself wasn't sure. He glanced to Roy, a bit uncertain, then to Jack. Finally he turned back to Remnar and gave a small nod.
With a sigh Remnar stood and said, "Fine." Alec got out his writing utensils and handed them over to Remnar. He wrote a quick letter, saying that they were expected to arrive maybe that evening and requesting that he hold all activity apart from defending their current position until he got there to assess the situation. Finally he signed it with a flourish. He was aware that it may come across as somewhat insulting of Grendal's abilities but he wasn't in the mood to spend the time making it sound just right.
Finally he handed it to Roy. "Here," he said before handing the utensils to Alec who stowed them away once more. The two of them mounted back up and they continued on their way.

Jack was shocked when Remnar was thrown from his horse, but even more surprised when Alec dove forth to catch him. He would have moved, but was to busy catching the reigns of his own horse and Alec's. When Roy called out for orders to stop Grendal from attaching the other army the surprise just continued, but when Remnar agreed to give Roy the command without even an explanation he nearly fell off his horse. When Alec got back on his horse and they started riding again he turned to him trying to figure out what he was missing, "Does Remnar know Roy really well?" He asked, having never gotten the impression that the water sprite was particularly close to anyone or hadn't been around for a long time. It just seemed particularly strange that he would give he such strange orders if he trusted Grendal to lead at all or if he had entered into this war with any forethought. He had to be misunderstanding something because this just didn't make any sense.

Roy stared at the two anxiously, uncertain as to whether or not the king would really even care or not about preserving the lives of the other humans. Relief washed over him though, as Remnar aggreed. Though, he was still rather anxious to get the letter and hurry back. Who knows what could have happened within the few minutes he was gone. While Roy waited for Remnar to write, which seemed to take an incredibly long time in his hurried mind, he glanced about the immediate area. His eyes fell on Jack, and the birds very obvious surprised and disbeliefing expression. He stared at Jack a few moments, trying to figure out why the bird was so surprised about what was happening. Roy would have asked what it was that surprised him so much, but he hadn't time. Remnar had finnished the letter. Roy took it, pausing long enough to thank Remnar before swifly vanishing.
"Here" said Roy as he appeared infront of Grendal not to long after recieving the letter. He held it out to the man stiffly. The paper was slightly damp, but everything was still legible.

Looking at the sprite curiously as he exhaled the smoke from his lungs in a pair of rings he took the paper and began to read it carefully. "Be there soon... yadda yadda... maintain defend current position.. etc etc.... " He mumbled as he read through the sheet of paper before looking back at the sprite with a slightly perturbeded look on his face.
"..... Idiot. You just brought me a piece of paper telling me to do what I'm already doing." He said showing him the damp note. "I already told you that we're only holding our position and retaliating against acts of aggression against us." He explained calmly though his irritation was obvious, though it wasn't necessarily aimed entirely at Roy. "This doesn't redefine what's an aggressive act, and it doesn't give me any more power to take in people who might surrender peaceable like. .... Either in your previous fit you weren't actually listening or you didn't actually read the letter did you?" He asked returning to his smoking.

Roy stared blankly at the paper for a few moments, as Grendal spoke about it saying nothing of any importance. Of course Roy hadn't read what the king had writen down, he was to preoccupied with trying to get back here as quick as he could. Such a stupid thing to do. To not make sure the paper said something that would acctually do something to help. But, that's what he gets when trying to leave things to humans. They are destructive. That's all this one thinks about. Killing others. It doesn't care, none care. Roy looked from the paper now, back to Grendal. The air in the near vicinity turned ice cold as he did so. Even roy appeared to take on an apprance of icy water. Again, anger was more than apparent. A horrible emotion he was introduced to by these destructive hatefull creatures. And an emotion would never be able to rid himself of. Roy only kept his eyes trained on Grendal for a few moments. No more simply trying to hold him back. No. The only thing these creatures would understand is pain. They live for pain and they thrive on it. Though they also fear and hate it. "I am a peacefull creature." Roy started, his ice cold gaze not leaving Grendal, "But you destructive pathetic things have taught me anger and hate. Be warned, I control all things water, I can do with it whatever I please. And you awful creatures, you are made from quite a bit of it. I could boil you, freeze you, torture and torment you. I suggest you think about that before you give the order to kill anyone." With that, he left Grendal, but not before showing him a hint of what he could do. Momentarily, Roy froze all the water contained within Grendals right arm, causing excrutiating pain. He let Grendal experiance that for a few seconds before returning the water back to its original state and tempurature. Now, he would search for Raven. That was the one human he trusted even the slightest at the moment. And he hoped Raven could help him calm himself. Once he was calm, he would go watch the other army, make sure none of them did anything threatening. Though to him, unless the human attemtped to harm another, or threaten to do so, it wasn't doing anything threatening. He had no care for these 'border' things the humans seemed to care so much about.
[Hope you don't mind what I did to Grendal o___o]
