Ms. Stone smiled. "You're entering the next stage of the Nullification Virus. Tell me, can you use your powers?"
Kara's lip trmebled. Anya knew enough to know that that was a bad thing.
"Okay, don't worry... I'm gonna put you down for a moment, and check in Ava's room. Carefully and stiffly, she put Kara in her cot.
Then she went out, being careful to shut the door, and walked down the hall. Grinning, she saw the dog outside Ava's door and rushed up to grab it. Then she saw Java coming and scuttled away back to Kara.
Java yawned. He'd not got any sleep for worrying about Ava. Smiling because he'd seen Anya going to Kara's room, he knocked on Ava's door.

Ava looked at Ms. Stone. "The...virus..?" She asked. "But-But!" She stopped to answer her question. "I don't know! I haven't tried." And she didn't want to try. She was too scared to see. She closed her eyes and used the little energy she had to transport. When she opened them, she was in the same place. She sighed.

Jo smiled. "Awesome. Eeeny meeny, pitsa teeny." she randomly stuck a finger on the list of classes and lifted it up to see what it was. "Ooh, climate control. I could do that." she then picked the rest of her classes in the same fashion, grinning when she handed the lady at the counter a sheet that had: Climate Control

Rebeccae Saville had a sheet filled with mathematical equations and diagrams with degrees and positioning stats on them - she was deeply confused and could do with another brain - she couldn't see Netta anywhere in school, and when she saw Anya, she hurried to catch her up, grabbing her arm to stop her just before Anya closed the door. She pulled her hand back with a guilty gasp, but the pain would already have coursed through Anya's body. "Oh my gosh, I'm soo sorry." she pulled her sleeves over her hands to stop anymore accidental contact.

Andrew grinned as he watched her. He put his hands in his pockets. "Well, I hope to be seeing you then." He nodded and then asked, "Hey Jo, do you want to go into Larkford with me tonight? We can do whatever you want to do."

Jo smiled. "Sure. I heard they have an awesome arcade, and a skate park! Boy, I'd love to be able to actually stay the right way up on a skateboard!" she laughed, "Most of the time, i'm flat on my back, or rolling on my side down a ramp - the skateboard will be 50 metres gone, running away and screaming 'Fleee!' "

He had flown through the window and now Blake stood over the child, he then smiled and reached into his pack.
"There you go little buddy! Teething can be painful but carrots are good for anything!" He chuckled, after giving Kara the vegetable.

Ms. Stone the nurse sighed.
"Nothing? Well, I'll be honest with you my dear," she said sadly, "That's how it'll stay from now on. Even if your body fights off the virus and you survive - whihc has happened, I'm proof - if your powers are gone now, you won't get them back..." she patted Ava's shoulder sympathetically. "I had hoped... you see, sometimes people wake up and they have their powers..." she turned, remembering when it had happened to her, then turned back, blinking away tears. "But don't worry, Bethan's gonna come up with a cure for you, just you see if she doesn't."
She heard the knock on the door and looked at Ava to see if she wanted to let the person in.
Java called through the keyhole "Hey Ava, Ms. Stone? I brought flowers for the invalid. He hoped that the best way to act was as if she had a cold or something. He'd had the antibiotics, and he'd always been pretty tough anyway, so he didn't really mind the whole virus thing. Plus, they'd already kissed, so if he had it, he had it.
Anya blinked in shock and whimpered in pain, but then smiled weakly at Beccae. "Don't worry. But maybe you should consider gloves?" She smiled properly, trying to convince Beccae that she was okay. "Do you want to come and see Kara... it's probably best if you don't touch her though..."
She opened the door, and saw Blake by Kara's cot.
"Um, excuse me?!"

Ava's eyes grew wide. "Are you kidding me?" She asked in disbelief but then nodded. She knew Bethan would be able to save her. Bethan could do anything. She heard the knock on the door and jumped up, almost tripping over her guitar on the way there. She opened the door and put one hand on her hip. "Oh, so now I'm invalid?" She didn't even feel sick, but she did feel powerless. SHe smiled at him. "Are you okay?"

Java grinned. "Yep. But don't worry, I'll look after you. Is that okay Ms. Stone?" he kissed Ava on the cheek.
"Don't you need to stay in bed? The next stage is a coma."
Ms. Stone smiled. "Well, I cna see you're in safe hands. No, you don't need to stay in bed Miss Storm, but stay in your room." she turned to Java. "Are you the one with the baby sister?" When he nodded she said "You need to stay away from her. Is there somebody who cna look after her?"
He nodded, shocked. "Anya might be up for it."
"I'll contact her then. Java, you're in quarantine."
She smiled sadly at them both, and went out.

Java's face lightened. "Well then, what to do now?"
He leant over and kissed her on the cheek again.
His phone went off. h
He had a text from Anya.
No worries. I'll look after her for a while. Shall I get her cot out of your room?
And Ms. Stone says do you want an airbed cos you're not allowed out of there?
