I HAVEN'T LOGGED INTO GAIA FOR LIKE 4 MONTHS AND I'M ONLY GREETED WITH 2 PM'S AND EASTER EGGS ALL OVER THIS NEW LAYOUT I TOTALLY DON'T GET. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. ARGH ARGH ARGH. I think they're actually trying more and more to look like a facebook and are hoping one day that boom will come to them. But I think twitter is gonna be the next big thing even though it makes no sense at all.

1, Facebook is a pile of s**t. End of story.
2, Obviously they want more people to join, more people = more chance more of their products being bought, which means more money. And since Facebook is (somehow) big, of course they'd try being SOMEWHAT like that.

I feel you, man.
I don't think they're trying to be facebook. They're getting some ideas from it and myspace, but Gaia's still gonna be Gaia. I'm allowed to get some art ideas from Tae without trying to be her, right?

Facebook is really really slow and tooooo many people use it. Myspace is soo much more fun. Gaia is awesome but like no one gets the point of it so they just leave sad

I really wish Gaia IM was in the same screen, like the sub-bar thing. I like that idea. I wouldn't mind another change to be like Facebook and Myspace if it meant that.
Though I hate how Facebook IM doesn't let you type anywhere else when you get an IM unless you view that IM. It's really obnoxious. And it makes my compy freeze when I recieve my first IM for that log in session. I strongly dislike it.

almost everywhere I go on gaia is in a rut and talks about the good ol' days, but I keep coming back on here.. xD
and I choose not to check up on some of the little newer stuff on gaia like the IM or the little status updates or w/e..
I don't even check up on facebook ever; so facebook gaia probably doesn't have a chance with me

Dude.. Gaia is just scamming for gold now. I remember when their was only donations,and donation items. i mean,cmon. Gaia cash shop,gaia cash,etc.

Yeah, it sucks.

Truth be told, Gaia Cash isn't exactly new. It's always been here, it's just never been advertised or exploited the way it is now.

That's true,Zelo. but it's quite reidulous,as Bev mentioned,the new shop,I mean come on.. I wouldnt even spend that much gold for those items even they are quite nifty(some on them atleast).

Indeed, I agree entirely, the Cash epidemic has gotten way out of hand. But what can we do? As unfortunate as it may be, it's not like they're going to pay much attention to any complaints about it, Cash brings in to much cash, no way they're going to give it up.
