The staff of knowledge

Buried alive, hundreds of years of knowledge locked within a single staff, kept secret by an ancient society of vampires. The staff was said to contain an amount of spells, charms, and curses that could be unlocked by anyone that could touch it. The problem? The user was said to go mad with power by the merest touch. Now, this staff has been stolen from them and has fallen into newer, diffrent hands. The powers unlocked has an incantation of sealing, said to be able to seal away the powers of the blade that has newly fallen into Ranma's hands. What is to become of this staff? Will it be touched by an enemy of Ranma, or will it be all but another toy to Ranma and his power? If the staff it is broken, it is said the person would be stripped to the bone with the power unlocked that quickly.

((Before you asked how it was formed, the society that owned it before it was stolen used to gain the knowledge from books/spells/time/etc and put it into the staff (for the harry potter fans sweatdrop Think pensieve's basically) and over hundreds of years, it accumulated before forming what it is now))

Ranma's father is the only being known to actually kill Ranma. He taught Ranma everything he knew and then some. This god that has dominion over the flame has grown weary of Ranma's cockiness and lazy attitude. He is offering training to one lucky quester, and a new sword. The Masamune, the only sword capable of standing on equal ground with Ranma's Murasame.

Questers goal.
Reach Phoenix and receive training and new sword.
(Not only will you be taught 50 - 80% of my techniques, you will get a sword strong enough to fight off my Murasame at full power.)

My goal.
Aquire the Masamune for my self and keep my father from training other questers.

stop the warp outbreak!

because of largo's foolish mistake the planet is being slowly consumed by the warp. slowly tainting everything it touches.

quester's goal.
1. find the 3 holy artifacts
2. fuse the 3 artifacts and get to the chaos gate before 15 days in which the effefts will be permanent.
3. place the holy artifact in chaos gate to reverse the effects of the warp.

ranma and his allies goal
1. stop the questers or stall them till day 15.
2. enter the chaos gate and gain newfound powers from one of the chaos gods (it would be a random pick from the evil and neureal gods/godesses.)

(this would be a team event, and ranma is allowed one ally so choose wisely.)

(well in that case you'd become a chaos breed granting you all the power that largo has in addition to the ones you've already aquired. by being a chaos breed you can truely tap into the power of the warp. 100% i mean. and the one person who teams up with you if decide so, would be granted power from that chaos god, but you get the sweeter part of the deal. i just wanted a team-themed quest.)
