Here's how it goes. Each person must write the next line of the story. The story must be carried on from person to person.
One sentence per post! It can be dialogue, action, new characters, whatever. To make it fun, don't post a whole lot of sentences at one, wait for someone to continue under you first, then post again.
The story can never end! I'll post the first sentence to begin. Let me think... okay here we go! Make what you want of it.
It was unexpected to say the very least.

I hope you don't mind but I laced all of the sentences together to make the story flow a little better. Here's what we have so far:
"Second place," Kei muttered, looking down on the girl standing in front of him.
Hikari snorted in annoyance at the egotistical jerk who called himself number one. "Don't call me second place!!! "
Kei chuckled and walked away.
"Heeyy!!! what are you laughing at!! " She screamed, following after him.
He just smirked, deciding to see how far he could push her before she exploded. "You're cute when you get angry."
Hikari stood there. Blushing, mouth agape, looking completely shocked, Kei thought she was very cute.
"Hikari,” he said, “let's battle."
“Cool!”
Hikari pumped her fist in the air, jumping up to almost twice her own height with inhuman looking speed and balance, and grabbed a hold of Kei's hand, racing with him in tow toward the school's gymnasium.
