What do you think of it? Do you think it did justice to Salvatore books? In my opinion, it was a bit short, but an overall good story.

Since The Stowaway is supposed to be mainly his son's coming out series for younger readers, it wasn't that bad. It was kind of fun to see Drizzt from a different point of view. I'll check them out from the library, but I don't know if I'll buy them *shrugs*
What put me off was how low the vernacular was. I mean I KNOW that it is geared for a younger audience, but I didn't realize how low!

Yah, i realized that, too. But, a Forgotten realms story for a younger audeance is a great way to get people to read more advanced books when they're older.

You know it actually wan't that bad of a book. Plus it gives some background information on one of the characters in the Pirate King.

I liked it. It was a nice, I dunno change of pace and i liked seeing Drizzt in it. The Icewind Dale trilogy is still my favorite. I want to buy all the books. (kinda difficult because all the money I get is five dollars a week)

As a vapid fangirl I'll buy anything Drizzt.
Did anyone notice how epic and wise Drizzt's few lines are? Anyway, even thought it was far far below my reading level, it didn't, unlike most books of it's kind turn me of of reading it. It was like the animorphs books. A light fun snack, like candy which can be enjoyed for about half an hour.
I hear he's in the next one more.

I will read the next one, and I think it's cute how Drizzt's few lines are epic worthyness. *nods*

Of course Drizzt's lines were epic. He is my philosophical mentor (even though he doesn't exist).
It was complex enough for me to fully enjoy it, and a good light read, and a good change of pace from the LoD novels. The Stowaway was a bit short, though.
On the subject of reading level, after attempting three times to read Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn, I am convinced that too hard a read can permanently damage your brain. Don't even mention Robinson Crusoe (sp?) *wince*
