Well I was wondering if anyone else had noticed definate preferences when treating their rats! My rats are apparently spoiled, and so sometimes wont even TAKE a yogie unless its their favorite flavor. My girls will eat either flavor whenever offerd, though they appear to prefer the cheese flavor, but my boys will ONLY eat the yellow ones, only occasionally nibbling a bit at a pink one but they usually dont finish them.
So...Have you noticed the same thing? Whats your rats favorite Yogie flavor, or favorite treat in general if they dont eat yogies?
Is there a gender split like I have, where the girls like one thing and the boys like the other?
If you cant tell try offering one of each color to your differnt rats and see which they pick first, make sure they know theres both there but cant take two at once.

My first rat (a female) only ate cheese snacks, and all my other girls only ate fruit confused

I don't have rats, though I adore them. I will someday, but at present my hands are full with my gliders and such.
However, Yoggies are a fave at my house as well. Vanilla are a favorite for all. Both Lilo and ********* love Strawberry, but Nani does not. None of them like Cheese.
********* also likes Peanut Butter, as did my gerbil, Boo. Boo also liked Cheese and Strawberry but not Vanilla.

all of my ratties love pretty much anything, but a few of them dont even take yoggies. I will try a little experiment with treats though 3nodding they are strange little critters.
