So whats your favorite Generation and Why?
Mine would have to be the G1 line since I was a kid when they were released. I used to play ponies with my neighbor and at school.
Though I mainly collect G3 ponyvilles

I'm gonna say G1s because I grew up watching that show so they have sentimental value.

no contest.... g1!!! g3 is alright, but not as good. and i hate g2. stare in my whooollllle pony room... guess where i keep my g2 US ponies? on an upper shelf in the pony room closet hidden away in 2 fakkie "luv pony" carrying cases. i only have 2 even on display in front of the fakkie cases. and i LOVE getting memorbillia MLP stuff.... all i have for them is a UK little tin bank. stupid, stupid g2s. stressed when i moved out of my parents house years ago, i only had limited space for my college apartment. took all my g1s. they filled up over half my little bedroom. i left my g2 playsets at my parents house. that was like, 12 years ago.... if i never see them again *shrug* i could live with that. 3nodding besides... before i left, i dug out my 2 lone childhood g1 ponies that were trapped in storage. so i'm good.

G1. I'm an 80's girl all the way. I was born in 1980 so G1 is *my* series. They are the ones I collect and grew up with. I have a G3 and I think it's a G2 but 99% of my collection is G1. I think they look more like real ponies than any of the subsequent generations.
