ALMOST PARADISE
You'll feel like you're in a paradise flowing with sweet strawberries, raspberries, and red currants. Freshly picked ylang, warm vanilla, and ginger linger in the air.
SADDLE LEATHER
The scent of leather and horses, it'll sweep you away to a trail ride in the warm sunshine from the moment the candle is lit. A relaxing scent, one that reminds you of summers on the ranch.

Scent: Almost Paradise
Physical description for each stage:
Unlit Scent Pale orange at the base, lightening to a warm gold at the top of the liquid.
Lit Scent Pale orange at the base, light gold at the top, but the mists coming out of the top of the oil should look faintly shimmery, almost like a fractured image of a sun.
Child Scent Bronzed skin and dark eyes, so dark brown they're almost black, with a gold ring around the pupils. Her hair is pulled back away from her face and into low pigtails, a warm gold color that fades to white at the edges of her bangs and pigtails.
For clothes, a simple white tank top and a pair of tan shorts.
Adolescent Scent Experimenting with make-up and fashion now; wearing her hair long and in a ponytail over one shoulder, her bangs long and sideswept. Her eyes are accented with orange shadow, lashes thick, with a thin amount of brown eyeliner.
Wearing a bikini top in some bright, tropical pattern, and sporting numerous gold bangles around her wrists, as well as a couple of bands on her upper arms. Again, she'll be wearing shorts, though these are cut-off blue jean shorts, paired with flip-flops.
Adult Scent Hair loose and free over her shoulders, ending in spiraled curls at the ends. Her make-up will remain fairly vivid, but probably a softer shade for her eye accent and a pale peach on her lips. She'll have shifted to a dark colored bra, slightly visible underneath a fluttery shirt with billowing sleeves. She should be wearing a couple of necklaces, likely thin and tasteful, and a pair of drawstring capri pants. Flip flops still, but she'll have a tribal-ish butterfly tattoo on one calf.

Lit Scent Dark brown at the base, lightening to a warmer one at the top. The smoke curling into the shape of a horse head, perhaps?
Child Scent Tanned skin and eyes as clear blue as a summer sky, he has an easy smile and freckles across his nose. His hair is a sandy blond, cropped short around his face but managing to look mussed and flyaway all the same.
A pair of blue jean shorts and a simple tee shirt for clothing.
Adolescent Scent Tall and lean, he's the picture of a teenaged stable hand. His hair is a little longer, falling into his eyes in an endearingly boyish way, and he still has freckles across his nose, though less.
Blue jeans and a plaid shirt, unbuttoned at the top, showing a white tee shirt underneath. Cowboy boots!
Adult Scent No more freckles, and his hair is kept in a short, somewhat spiked style that's practical. He now wears a cowboy hat, with one of those cute little dangling things that goes down under his chin
(but isn't tightened up to the chin). He still has that relaxed smile, possibly even a wink.
Chaps and another plaid shirt! Mmm, grown up cowboy.

» History:
- Born to a couple who married simply because of the pregnancy.
- Grew up watching his father get very drunk and abuse his mother.
- When he was seven, his mother took him and returned to Marsielle, France, where she was from. He retained his father's last name.
- In his freshman year at a very exclusive private school (paid for by the hefty settlement his mother got from the divorce) he was held underwater in the pool so long that he passed out. He has had an intense fear of large bodies of water since then.
- Discovered his sexuality after several uncomfortable instances in the boys' dormitory and showers, though kept it a fiercely guarded secret until his sophomore year.
- As Bastien was having an affair with one of his instructors, there was a large scandal when the secret was revealed. The instructor was fired and Bastien continued the year being socially ostracized.
- Emotionally scarred, both from his peers' reaction as well as the complete and total severance of the relationship, Bastien escaped the school at the end of his school year and went to his former instructor's home. He was ruthlessly and completely rejected by the other man.
- Returning home, he discovered that his mother was sick and had been hiding it from him since he had first entered school. She died shortly before the end of his junior year.
- Bastien was sent to live with his father (moved to America at this point), though the two were as close to strangers as a father and son could be. Unaware of his son's sexual predilections, Nicholas Crawford nevertheless found other faults within his son.
- Bastien transferred to high school school at the beginning of his senior year, tried out for the position of quarterback at the urging of the coach, and made the team.
- Graduated, having made unlikely friends with some of the boys on the team, as well as having started a relationship with the uncle of one of his friends.
- Throws himself headlong into working on his own designs, and when his father finds out about his affair with Richard Brennon (the uncle), he is beaten severely and tossed out of the house.
- Stays with BFF Kyle for a while; designs take off, becomes a hit and is able to afford his own apartment and car. Still seeing Richard!
