k, there's this girl in my school who's practically perfect in every way. She did modeling as a 2 year old and she knows how to use make up and a hair curler. She has blonde hair (like me) but if you ask any boy, her's is like the sun. She's creative and artsy and in art I made a simple peace sign with mixed colors but she made one and it got posted as a "perfect example" I got straight A's she didn't. (I know because she told all her grades and showed the report card) I hate the fact that she can write like a midevil writer and brags. She always comes over and says that the book I'm reading looks interesting, even though I know she hates murder and mystery. She does great on the WASL, finishes it first and turns on her MP3 player. She also has a group of cool guys always following her, and all the boys that ask me out, she wouldn't be seen with. I'm going to blow if she bothers me again.

Haha, wow, sounds like this is really eating you up.

I know where you're coming from. There's that one person who's seen as the "ideal" that everyone adores. It can be annoying yes, but don't let it get to you. I went through high school wishing I could be like my friends. While they were great at what they did, I was the mediocre kid with good grades. After sophomore year I realized that I didn't care about getting people to notice me. If I was given credit, great. If no, so what?

Though it may seem this girl is getting under your skin, it's really nothing to worry about. If she tries to start a conversation with you, humor her. As long as you know who you are, nothing else matters.

That's great advice. BUT I've known this girl since kindergarten. I'm normally noticed a lot in poetry, but today she was all like: "Hey! You copied my poem! Teacher she copied my poem!" and like I said before I HATE HER!!! ]:<

Like mb_bunny said, don't let it get to you. I also had a friend who got all all the attention from my other friends, leaving me ignored a lot of the time, but so what? Popularity is overrated honestly, who cares if she gets more attention just for doing the same stuff? You know you've done just as good, if not better than her on things, so what does it matter if you get recognition or not for it?

She may claim credit for your poem, but you're safe in the knowledge of whose poem it really is and so is she, whether other people give credit to you or not shouldn't matter.

Once you stop caring what people think and cherishing what you have is when you become happy. Credit doesn't make you happy. And, no offense, but you seem sort of insecure about this whole thing. Don't hate her, either avoid/ignore her, or despite how hard it might be, act as nice as you can towards her and attempt to enjoy her personality. Because frankly, hating her isn't going to do you any good and you'll just spiral into more anger.

It's not really that everyone likes her as much as the fact that she's taken almost all of my friends to her side, they stopped hanging out with me and started to hang with her, now they don't even talk to me.

Sorry to hear that, the same has happened to me when a new friend was introduced. But honestly, if your friends are just going to leave you in the dust, then, pardon my language, but screw them. Real friends don't pull that crap. I suggest finding new friends.
