The Specifics
Gender: Male
Generation: One
Age: Adult
Build/Overall Appearance: Almos is more slight than many other males of his kind; he looks fragile, as if any fall could shatter him into a thousand tiny pieces.
Size: Small for his gender and age.
Health: He tends to complain of constant headaches, and he always squints, as if trying to peer through a thick fog or bright light to see things. Otherwise, however, he is healthy as a horse.
Persona
Likes: Sleep, riddles, puzzle games, discussing dreams, thinking.
Dislikes: Loud noises, bright lights such as the sun, strenuous activity.
Personality: Though Almos is generally very kind and gentle, on occasion a hint of arrogance will shine through. This usually happens in his more lucid moments, when he really grasps the world around him; most of his life, however, is spent in a hazy fog where he comprehends little of the waking world.
History: Born into the Ethuil Clan, Almos was raised with their courtly manners and sense of superiority - he is a direct descendant, after all. However, on reaching adolescence, he was gifted with a dream that he claims came from his forefather, leading him to the Laer Clan. The journey to them was a hard one, and he was alone much of the time. He refuses to speak of it, but something happened during this time to drive him into his mental fog; he hasn't left it since.
Clan: Laer
How They Came To Be In The Clan: After his journey, on reaching the Laer Clan, he was at first welcomed warily into his ranks. They could see he was dream-touched, but they were unsure if they were true dreams or simply the result of madness and instability on his part. When a child wandered from the safety of the Clan and became lost, the shamans and mystics were helpless to find her; instead, it was The Cloudy One who wandered off as well, arguing with thin air. He came back half a day later with the child in tow, smiling. Irmo had shown him the way, he claimed, and from then on, he was a valued member of the Clan. While most of his ramblings are indeed the ravings of lunacy, others in the Laer know they can depend on him when trouble is about.
